- TingAugust 22, 2014Less birds here n so more serene. Chicken rice is cheap and good. Min Jiang Kueh and freshly made cheong fun good too. Most stalls are open for breakfast and by lunch, more than half are closed.
- Goh BengAugust 23, 2014美佳炒米粉 - best fried bee hoon and I've been here almost every sat coz of this. Slightly wet style but yet bee hoon is not soggy. Try it yourself and you'll see !
- Here's a breakfast idea ... appam with mata lembu from Hajjah R.S.A (#01-27) and coffee from Five Foot Way (#01-25). You can thank me later.
- Tanglin Halt Original Peanut Pancake #01-16. My favorite is the salty pancake. Love the yam paste an original peanut too. Run by a friendly ever-smiling elderly couple. A must try!
- Fried bee hoon. The breakfast stall Mei Kia 01-18 is popular but I found the bee hoon base too salty. Yummy fried chicken and chilli sauce though
- Kaya toast set. Disappointed with offerings from Five Foot Way 01-25, top 10 recipient of 2008 City Hawker Food Hunt for coffee & bread. Kopi lacked aroma; kaya toast used Gardenia bread & margarine
- Popiah. 28 Rojak No Pork No Lard #01-28 also prepares this non-meat snack. Tasted yummier with chilli paste
- Rojak. Despite the declaration of what's not included, enjoyed a plate from 28 Rojak No Pork No Lard #01-28. $3 for this plate. Could be less sweet though
- Stall #01-09 offers delicious and super affordable porridge and Hong Kong style chee cheong fun. Friendly and generous stall owner too.
- Grated coconut & coconut milk. There’s a stall at the wet market section (can’t find unit number) selling these, as well as some fruits
- Ordered a plate char siew+roast duck rice fr Ban Seng Roasted Meat #01-15. Owner served dish w bowl of 'double-boiled' soup & said "$5". While I dun mind, I didn't appreciate forced sales tactic :-(

- Best Fried Beehoon, Chicken Wings and Fried Meat Patties. However it only opens during evening time, with every dinner hungry fellow queuing for it. It's worth the wait though!
- The pork and lard free lor mee is good and the serving is insane.
- One of the cheapest desert you can find in Singapore. Check it out.
- Morning the bee hoon store next to the tou hua shui is super yummy too..

- Try the Laksa stall, one of the best I've tried! They are only open in the morning though.

- The cheapest in Town here is the Ah luck beancurd !!! Simply Da best b close till 2.30/3am daily
