The Corcoran GroupJanuary 27, 2012Unlike Penn Station, Fido cannot walk through this terminal to his train. He MUST be in his crate (or bag) from the moment you enter the building. Thank you street level elevator!
Make sure you have extra time to navigate if it's your first time here. Very confusing subway-LIRR transfer!

For those using LIRR, there is an issue with the tracks in the East River tunnels, so expect delays in Jamaica and Atlantic Terminal

I usually board the 2 or 3 mid train to exit the closest to a stairwell at Franklin Ave.
Easier way to Long Island. Avoid the crowds at Penn Station.
- Don't expect to use your smart phone. There's almost never service by the tracks.
