- Fishball noodles. Enjoyed the fishballs fr Tian Cheng #01-20. But what left a deeper impression is their homemade fishcakes - tasty to the very last slice!
- For hor fun fans. Shun Ji #01-18 offers toppings like crayfish, shredded chicken w prawns, & shredded chicken w mushrooms. The magic is in the sauce - just the right consistency, and tasty too!

- Wantan mee: Hong Ji Mian Shi Jia #01-05. 1 of d popular stalls, judging by its long q. Noodle was 'q', char siew slices were fat & juicy. Wantan was not impressive - tasted hard & many were split open
- Prata: Had a shootout betw Sabeen Sara (SS) #01-07 & Haja Najumudeen (HN) #01-37. Prefer HN with crispier dough & matching subtle curry. Order fr SS if u want fluffy prata with spicier curry

- AvannaJanuary 26, 2016Heaps of good food here. The carrot cake is really good. The Long queue char Siew rice is good but not really worth the long wait. Lor mee is better than the outlet in Tiong Bahru.

- Of the 7 coffee stalls sampled, Ming Feng #01-04 served it thick & bitter, the way I like my kopi
- Nasi Lemak. $3 from Labrador Nasi Lemak #01-39. Chilli & peanut-ikan bilis individually packed. Chilli was good. Rice lacked any aroma. Nothing memorable
- Porridge: Fell in love w Tiong Bahru Wah Yuen #01-12 when they were orig @ Seng Poh Mkt. Hv a weakness 4 their crunchy & tasty fried pig's intestines porridge
- Fishball noodles. Ang Moh Kia #01-08 is probably riding on being featured in a documentary. Tastes of MSG. Fishballs were unimpressive & not handmade
- Anthony LauNovember 6, 2010Mee rebus (01-32) very nice. Reminds me of the Mee rebus fr my school. Carrot cake black (01-33) also very retro. Prawn Mee also good and so is the wanton noodles
