The whole reason to come here is the outdoor patio with scenic views of most of the downtown DC monuments. Incredible location! The happy hour food and drinks are not bad too.

Beautiful view of the White House and monuments. $39 bottomless brunch on Sunday with lots of interesting items to choose from, such as sushi. Perfect for a special occasion.
Everyone mentions the view of the White House (which is great), but the view of the rest of the city is even better. Bring your camera with panoramic feature.
Read some of the reviews here & we were skeptical. Turns out they were quite accommodating. Service was good, food was good & everything is always better with unlimited mimosas. Ask 2 sit with Serita.
Amazing view. That's all this place is worth, a great view. At night they go 4 a 'club' vibe, but the music is bad. Ultimately only tourists and the old men trying to hook up with them come here.
The Hangover Brunch is the way to go, say the Bitches Who Brunch. For $39, you get a bottomless breakfast cocktail, hot dish of your choice and cold buffet that includes a raw bar (and that view!). Read more
Walk in and put your name down for a table. Grab and drink at the bar and wait. Get a text that your table is ready and continue with small bites and more drinks
Make sure you ask for a table with chairs...we had a reservation with a view (which was fantastic) but our chairs did not have backs and my older mom couldn't stay. Also- sun was in her eyes... Ugh..
Simply an unbelievable view of the monuments and white house that I can't believe nobody has ever told me about. Prices aren't as bad as you might think, given the view. $7 beers and $15 cocktails.
best rooftop view in the district. this venue is about as "LA Scene" as it gets, reserving table space is the best approach. dont forget the lobby, its underrated! and it's just as nice
Views were beautiful. Was here on a gorgeous day but even of if had been cloudy I couldn't imagine it being worse. Atmosphere is great and the patrons were also so kind!
Winter: it's time for locals to take it back. The view of some of Washington's most noteworthy national landmarks, will remind you why tourists flood here every summer.
The worst kept secret, but still a mandatory stop if you’re visiting DC or have a visitor in town. You’re totally paying for the views and it’s worth every penny.
The commitment to mixology at P.O.V extends to every element: even the ice in your drink is customized, in spheres, cubes, spears, or freshly shaved off a giant ice block.
The service is dreadful, but people put up with it because of the view. Food is pretty good - the cheddar/jalapeño peppers and black pepper shrimp are standouts.
Bar has a decent selection of drinks that are way overpriced. They're good, but with tip you'll pay $20/drink. Definitely paying for the worth it view.
P.O.V. is one of D.C.'s most popular destinations, hosting top celebrities, politicos and socialites, while providing unsurpassed views of the nation’s capital.
