- Living in the area - it is the perfect place to come for dim sum on the weekend. It is not the best I have had in London - but for the area it is a solid dim sum.
- Jun SMarch 11, 2016Try order everything in one go. Stick with the dim sum menu. Try Chung fung and steamed dumplings. And of course the "Phoenix feet"
- Leanne WongSeptember 18, 2013Best bor lor bao in town (pineapple buns). Fresh out of the oven and with a surprise filling
- A.March 11, 2015The dim sum here is good. Would recommend the cheung fun (stuffed rice noodles), the turnip cake and the chiu chou fun guo (Chiu Chou style pork dumplings)
- Actually, everything I've tried puts it in the upper band of Chinese restaurants I have visited in London in terms of quality and taste. But certainly not in terms of price.
- Small waiting area. Get there for 12 on the dot at weekends. to avoid ticket system. Parking in Asda is free for 3 hours.
- Mei SuenAugust 17, 2014Good for people living in East London, no need to go into West End for dim sum. Service extremely slow though.
- Ordered seafood noodles, the scallops were not fresh but the prawns are fine. Instead of replacing it, I was threatened that if I ordered a seafood dish they will not change the dish if it’s not fresh
- Nainesh MehtaJune 5, 2010Brilliant Dim Sum here, very popular over the weekends and by far the best valued place in Canary Wharf for dim sum
- Dominic D.September 6, 2014Crowded place. People turnover is fast. You should not wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. Dim sum is standard. Nothing outstanding.
- Danielle AadsenJune 30, 2013The dim sum is amazing, but they only serve it until 4:30. After that the menu gets shoddy and they run out of many menu items.
- Maja NaskretJanuary 13, 2013Arguably the best dim sums in town! Highly recommended, however be ready to queue!
- MonicaSeptember 25, 2013Great dim sum place, quite reasonably prices too. Would def rather go there than Chinatown
- Nainesh MehtaJune 9, 2010Brilliant for dim sum in the weekends, opens at 12, get there early to avoid having to wait for a table as this place can get very busy!
- Ewen MitchellJanuary 18, 2012Ignore that beardy fool. Classic dim sum and authentic Canto dishes. Take someone who knows real Chinese food.
- Fiona G.👑June 13, 2015Haven't visited for years now as the quality dropped but has now improved on dim sum. Fried noodles were expensive in tiny portions.
- NoMade InMongoliaMarch 22, 2015Really average main dishes... Shredded lamb in plum sauce and steamed prawn were fine. The sweet and sour soup was really average. Do not recommend orange chicken - tasted artificial.
- Jia WangJuly 17, 2014Ppl here are not friendly if you first ask for tap water and then order two cheap (10 each) dishes.
- Jon ChooNovember 7, 2011Used to come here weekly, but quality has taken a serious hit for the worse. What were once quality dim sum made with fresh ingredients, now looks like processed frozen food. Urgh.
- Ask for Stephen/Michael/Helen or Jas, they can give you some authentic chinese food recommendations..
- Kay McMahonFebruary 10, 2013Avoid when busy: came for Chinese New Year. Took 2 hours & still didn't get all our food. Bill was wrong. Service shambolic.
- MichaelJuly 18, 2011Gordon S, I don't think you could have been to the same Lotus as everyone else. Never encountered a rude member of staff or processed food here!
- Ankur Singh GaurMarch 2, 2013Don't expect any prawns in Prawn Fried Rice...Also bad customer service.
- Anastasia TolstovaApril 13, 2012We made the quickest escape from here. Ran away to Goodman. Not recommended.
- GordonJune 19, 2011Best tip I can give is to avoid it completely. Rude staff and cheap processed chinese food.
