Park in the garage. Everything was super fresh. We had imperial rolls, Bahn mi, and tofu vermicelli. All as high quality as midtown, which means about the best in town.
I think this was my first time actually ordering Vietnamese at a Vietnamese restaurant but it was delicious! I tried chicken vermicelli- maybe not the most popular dish, but good & lots of veggies.
The portions are on the lean side. I ordered papaya salad w/ shrimp & there were actually only 3 shrimp -- cut in half to look like there were 6, omg! The vermicelli w/grilled pork is very tasty!
The number two pork sandwich is their best selling item according to the owner. And they have it priced at a low cost of $2.95 for a reason...cuz you WILL want to come back again and get another.
Only half a bowl of Pho for $7. Two pieces of beef and three meatballs. Ordered the egg rolls, got spring rolls. Nice atmosphere and location, but is all about the food for me.
Sandwiches, pho, vermicelli, etc all just as good as their other locations and at the same low prices. Plus now you have sushi and in a great part of town.
Food is alright. Not sure why people commend the bartenders. Thought they were really bad... especially the girl who got there and gossiped for 20 minutes while ignoring the bar. Owner is loosing $$!
I really like this place, yet today the service was lousy. The pho was way too greasy. The waitress forgot to put some jalapeno to my plate. The epic fail was a nasty hair in my pho. So sad :(((
Don't bother with this location. The service is terrible and the food sucks just as much. Go to the Milam one and get better food, better service with better prices.
horrible service... disappointing food ... you can consider yourself lucky if your pho come out hot and the staffs there didn't roll their eyes on you.
Not sure why this place is so busy. It is awful. They always run out and don't have what you want. They will not substitute. They have a worthless system of check out and taking items to go.
