- The Express will save 10 minutes if you're headed from downtown to Greewood. It bypasses all the Fremont/Phinney stops.
- The 5 takes you from Greenwood, to Fremont, to downtown and could change into a 54 and take you into West Seattle.
- 5 goes to either Northgate or Shoreline, watch the signs carefully. In most cases 55s are Northgate 5s and 54s are Shoreline 5s and vice-versa.
- New hybrid bus is nice - easier on/off access and seems like more space.
- Perfect route takes you from north Seattle through Greenwood and Phinney Ridge, along Aurora till you hit downtown and then across W Seattle bridge to the Alaska Junction
- changes downtown to the 54, which goes to Lincoln Park and White Center; or to the 55, which gets you to the Admiral District

- Ride the same bus from West Seattle (as the 54) through downtown and all the way up to the Zoo without getting off or transferring.
- Scheduled 639am is never on time...expect it between 644 to 650
