A great contemporary art museum in Rome by Zaha Hadid. It is just opposite to the gelateria Neve di Latte so it's good to visit both by taking tram no. 2 from the piazza del Popolo.
First kids can play in the MAXXI square outdoors. Second they can run through the museum's wide spaces and climb the stairs. There's a chance they will also take an interest in contemporaryart.
The modern solo shows at the Zaha Hadid–designed National Museum of XXI Century Arts range from first-rate artists to architecture retrospectives of talents such as Carlo Scarpa.
Recently created by the architect Zaha Hadid, this is not only a contemporarymuseum but a real Art campus dedicated to creativity! Get updates by signing up for on their official social media page.

Works to transform this former army barracks into the Museo delle arti del XXI secolo (MAXXI) have been stop-go since building began in 2001, to a design by Anglo-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.
MAXXI, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts, is the first Italian national institution devoted to contemporary creativity and conceived as a broad cultural campus.
