    Highly recommend a refreshing dip after a long day at work; also makes a great alt route to Brooklyn when the bridges are clogged because of summer construction.

    Love it for running or just walking and stopping under the Brooklyn bridge to enjoy the views. Surprisingly safe for night runs too!

    It is safer to swim here then the Hudson. No planes land on the East river.
