- HISTORYMarch 30, 2010Fort Point was constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers between 1853 and 1861 to prevent entrance of a hostile fleet into San Francisco Bay and was occupied in WWII in order to protect the Bay.

- LakshJune 9, 2014Bundle up! It gets cold and windy inside the arena-like fort. Also, make sure to peer through all the tiny windows for spectacular and rare views of the GGB.
