- Tim WieringaJune 11, 2017The ramen here are artistically composed. The broth is balanced and rich, the noodles feel freshly made and all ingredients are of quality. The atmosphere feels young and is full of noisy efficiency.
- Torzin SMarch 4, 2015One of the nicest ramen place in Singapore, the soup and shachu pork are deeply good taste. Strangely that hhis branch is better than other branches, and better than Bangkok one!
- Sara KayJanuary 26, 2018Get the egg topping - it's one of the best. Lemon soda went well with our ramen and you can refill it once (soda water and sugar syrup on table). Great ramen broth. Don't bother with chicken karaage.
- Lisa StarbucksOctober 20, 2019Love the broth & the meat was so tender. If you chose HOT-it is really hot, so you might consider. Go for the matcha tiramisu. That was really nice too. Only this depressing mall setting is a bummer.
- Richard TangJanuary 16, 2017The ramen is spectacular! I also ordered the pork buns and crispy corn as recommended by others- indeed they were good! It's expensive for a bowl of ramen but if u r not having it everyday..indulge!
- Terence OMarch 8, 2013Tonkotsu ramen here is a must-try here. Do try the Hakata gyoza, steamed pork bun and Cheese Jaga Ball which complement well with the ramen. Be prepared to queue for at least an hour though.
- Ippudo, probably the best ramen shop that I ever eaten. Try their ramen. I love the red bowl one (forgot the name), crispy corn, pork bun, and their steak (only available for dinner)!
- Kath HY KanOctober 26, 2014Still my favorite ramen in Singapore ! Tried the seasonal special - tan tan. The broth is special and tasty - almost like authentic tan tan !
- Magdalena MrázkováOctober 9, 2014You'll be collectively welcomed by the staff with "irashaimase". Their ramen are the best, food is ready in no time and the atmosphere is relaxing
- Conor 林诺 コナーSeptember 10, 2013Fantastic ramen right in the centre of Singapore! Also, try the 'canapés' they don't sound so good but are delicious :)
- sputneekJuly 2, 2016Akamaru ramen never fails to satisfy the palate with the fragrant ball of garlic stirred into the equally addictive soup base.
- Jasmine PangDecember 29, 2014The restaurant always have a long Q of people that their staffs are always chasing dinners out once they are done. Good & bad, depending on which side of the fence you are on.
- Hannah LimMay 3, 2011Absolute awesomeness, you can slurp the soup to the very last drop. Try Ramen with miso paste paired with a White Sangria. And the best part is where I can choose my ramen to be hard medium or soft.
- Ebi Avocado Delight is good appetizer. Ramen was and still is the best in Singapore.
- Celine OngNovember 29, 2015Love the ramen and rich soup stock! The appetizers were delightful. The tummy will conquer!
- Ferlin AriestaMay 31, 2014great taste of Gyoza, will never had enough of it, must try item! Nice ramen too, will do another visit next time surely..
- Geraldine AngSeptember 28, 2013Spicy ramen 2013!! Excellent choice. Each portion of additional toppings added other than the egg is enough to be shared amongst two ppl.
- IshanMay 15, 2017A taste of Japan in Singapore. Ramen & gyoza, and if you're still hungry, pork buns. Can't go wrong.
- Annabelle KittykitkatJuly 1, 2011I must admit the thickness of the pig broth is exactly how I'd like it to be & it's bloody tasty. Minus points for the miserable slice of pork belly though. Lose out to Santouka for the pork!
- Annabelle KittykitkatJuly 1, 2011 the interior deco & seating arrangement. V spacious in between tables. Hate the insane queue (waited an hr on avg weekdays!) Thank gdness serving time is fast & efficient! Overall dining exp!
- Followed some of the reviews and Akamaru Ramen is delicious indeed.
- Hester LauSeptember 27, 2013Medium noodle tasted just right. The original soup was also not very salty. So all in all, the ramen tasted really good. Additional noodle can be added if you have remaining soup too!
- Dennis LimNovember 27, 2014I can detect the faint regionalized flavor profile of the broth and chashu but is still a good bowl of ramen.
- Andrea MonniAugust 9, 2014Their pork buns are to die for. And their ramen never disappoint, Ippudo is always a sure bet.
- Shyan TanJuly 9, 2016Popular Japanese franchise but its ramen lacks the rusticity and grittiness that you'll find in any ramen shops in Japan.
- Andrew LamNovember 8, 2010Expensive, but the best ramen in Singapore. Long line (no kidding, velvet rope outside) and when they run out you're out of luck so get in early. Besides ramen, pork buns and renkon chips are yummy!
- WL TJune 19, 2010Shrimp buns are the bomb. Try them! If u have a large group of abt 6 - 8 and are willing to spend upwards of $30+ per person, they offer u the VIP room if it's available.
- Kenn TanApril 23, 2016Spicy boiled gyoza is unique. Taste like a spicier version of the sichuan red oil wonton.
- Get My Grub On! www.getmygrubon.coOctober 2, 2013I had the classic but my friend had the seasonal spicy black ramen that was awesome and had a good kick to it!
- Cliff Cheng-Jacky NgOctober 29, 2013If ur really picky about your noodles, u'l find it decent, soup base is gud but not something u'l crave for. Rest of the menu is so-so. Also, they don't give to-go bags for the stupidest of reasons
- Olivia IntanOctober 16, 2014Pork bun and crispy corn for side order, whatever your favorite ramen is!
- Cindy AbellaAugust 25, 2012Ramen is really good - rich miso broth, noodles with the right chewy al-dente consistency. But for those who are avoiding fat or who don't like it - don't order akamura ramen - lots of floating fat ;(
- Lim Jun ChengAugust 31, 2013Original shiromaru special was good. Bamboo shoots were well seasoned. Egg yolk was too hard though, prefer mine to be slightly more runny
- Karl BustamanteJuly 7, 2013Ramen was good but there are a lot better out there in the same price range or cheaper. They have small servings for their ala carte dishes as well
- Emily JordanFebruary 21, 2017Mini beers for just enough to wash down salty ramen. Super friendly staff
- Joie TanFebruary 7, 2012The egg that you can order on the side is something special. Make sure you have it with your next bowl here.
- if ur coming with ur friends, make sure all the members are presented before seated.
- Max BergJuly 11, 2015Ton tonkatsu ramen was tasty, however not nearly as high quality as Ippudo in Japan!
- Paul TuddenhamNovember 9, 2014The spicy miso was incredible and full of flavour again, although still a little too salty!
- The seasonal mapo tofu is weird initially, but put in the toppings & it gets quite tasty. Give it a shot if u've had everything else before.
- Joanne TanAugust 29, 2010I think the side dishes taste better than the ramen. I had curry tofu, gyoza and the chicken in spicy seasoning. Santouka is better in terms of ramen. Marutama too. The base here at ippudo is way oily
