a great place for your first lunch immediately after you land in CDMX - you can't go wrong with the menu. the line outside moves much faster than you expect and the service is really fast too.
No wonder there is a lineup everyday here...Pozole, outstanding. Make sure you pack it with the goodness offered.Get the avo, chicharon and cheese.Such great value! Speedy too, so you won't wait long
Wonderful typical-southern Mexican food in a casual, frantic, perfect for people watchingcafeteria type spot. Everyone comes here. If you’re in the neighborhood, become a regular here!
A Mexico City classic known for pozole, gigantic sopes, and being open 24 hours a day. Service is super efficient; even if there's a crowd outside you won't wait long.
The hustle & bustle of service at La Casa de Toño is a testament to its immense popularity! A family styleeatery, the menu offers several types of pozole and other favorites like sopes & quesadillas.
This is a great option for authentic Mexican food. I ordered the Flautas (Chicken, beef and potato), for a veggie option try the quesadillas filled with Flor de calabaza (pumpkin flower).
The pozole with all three types of meat is a must but my family ordered everything on the menu pretty much and it was top notch. The service was speedy and attentive. Don't forget the flan with cajeta
Casa de Toño didn't disappoint. The pozole was a delicious, rich broth and succulent pork, and the horchata was superb. Served lightning quick and total bill for 2 ppl including beers only $15!
Even thought It is a chain, the quality of the food is very good and the plates are totally typical. Prices are good too, so it is a must. Try the pozole and the enchiladas
A very popular place with traditional dishes from Mexico City. Pozole is the specialty food of the place and for breakfast it has dishes such as molletes or enchiladas, all at a very good price.
There's almost always a wait around lunch time, but it moves faster than you'd think and is so worth it. The pozole was incredible, as was the quesadilla de tinga!
I remember that I came here with a mexican friend and we ordered a lot of delicious food and ate like PATRONS while drinking horchatas. Te food is like a grandmother's food. So good <3
