- John AgapitosMarch 27, 2018The way to get to the Statue of Liberty, and to Elis Island. Cheap tickets, and on time service. Be on time, as there is airport-style security to go through. Gift shop on board. Helpful staff.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- James FerrandiniJune 9, 2012Make sure you get your tickets online to get in the express "Reserve" line. Otherwise you'll be in line forever. You only need to get your tickets a day early.
- Betzy PenaApril 30, 2018Nice transport service, very good options to be enjoying the trip in 3 levels, in our case the first floor to be comfortable with our baby
- ❦ ❧Desi Stine❦ ❧July 27, 2013Buy tickets online.Rent a locker if have a back pack/bags from other places. Bc of security only carry small items and no big full purses to avoid problems or having to go get a locker after in line
- Tiffany SteeleJune 19, 2012Make sure you sit on the left side of the boat, when you're facing the back end. That's the side that will face the Statue when you're riding by!
- MohrahMay 5, 2019Although the line was too long, it didn’t take much time. But still can’t get the idea of tickets thou. Any ways I loved the experience
- CafaliJuly 16, 2019Prepare for the weather. We’re from Texas and we were still very warm. The humidity is high! Airport-style security checkpoint to pass through adds to the Ellis Island experience 😉
- DeniAugust 18, 2012Order the tickets online because there is an enormous line at the stations when u get there!
- ✨#IamRomdelacrème✨May 11, 2012Get your tickets early and try to get the very first ferry in the AM to go and enjoy visiting more than one island.
- Ricardo LucianoJanuary 4, 2016Pick the seats at the top of the ferry and at the left side for a great view!
- Go to the top deck for the best views, plenty of food and drinks
- Always busy, but the staff is nice and you can always enjoy the #EyeCandy
- Austin BaileyAugust 22, 2014Try to sit on the first level. You'll still be able to get good pictures and you'll make it off faster.
- Chetu19September 6, 2017Best shot of the liberty statue is from the ferry when u get closer to the island. IT looks splendid
- Ian KennedyApril 23, 2023For best views of the Statue of Liberty, head up to the top deck, starboard rail (right).
- RJ DavidAugust 19, 2011Skip the long lines. Reserve your tickets online and either print your ticket or get it from the pier entrance (castle clinton). The lines are very long.
- David CNovember 12, 2011Do make sure to reserve your tickets online for quicker boarding. The lines are super long with a bunch of tourists!
- loran jonakOctober 17, 2015Want to see the sites, go to the top deck - want a quick exit, stay on the lower deck
- Luis ZambranoSeptember 29, 2013Make sure to take your pictures, and be mindful of others also taking theirs
- Koen BlanquartNovember 13, 2011Grab a seat on the upperdeck at the back of the vessel. Good photo-place while going to liberty island.
- Alexander KostOctober 6, 2017Lovely views and service, however, people can get extremely rude trying to get to the edge of a ferry to make a selfie
- DanielDecember 31, 2013Signage says they use "airport-like security screening" but I wasn't assaulted by a TSA agent so I feel like the security section doesn't live up to the hype. The actual ferry ride is alright though.
- NancyFebruary 22, 2011The gift shop onboard has a lot of the same stuff as in the gift shop at the statue. Skip the lines and get the souvenir on board.
- JLSeptember 14, 2015Fast service. You don't have too wait too long. Ferry is a little overloaded but fine.
- Jillian CornetteOctober 16, 2011Make sure to buy your tickets online ahead of time! We skipped the hour long line!
- David JonesJanuary 27, 2012Go when it is raining. There is no line. They also give a military discount!!!
- Thomas Mærkedahl-NordlanderJuly 26, 2017The logistics here are simply flawed! Standing in line 60 minutes in the sun despite having a "fixed" entry time!
- Security AnalystOctober 28, 2013Wait until passengers disembark before ordering a delicious, queue-free hot dog !
- Jose T RomanJuly 16, 2018Dont take drones with you! They are not allowed! I forgot mine was on the backpack and had to go the next day
- Lucy LisantiDecember 31, 2010If you don't have enough time on either island to go to the gift shop, there are two small shops which sell magnets and Statue of Liberty hats on the boat.
- Heather PetrasDecember 15, 2013Don't bother with prepaid. We waited in line for 15 minutes to redeem our prepaid tickets while others walked right up and got tickets within seconds. 4 lines 1 was prepaid- 40deep. D-
- Lizzie HatfieldMarch 13, 2016Not enough seating and slightly too rocky for my taste. Views of Manhattan good though, and staff friendly.
- Nick SawyerMarch 16, 2010Make sure you're on Liberty Island before 3:30 or you won't be able to go up into the statue. Found that out the hard way. T_T
- Statue CruisesAugust 4, 2010Skip the lines: Reserve your tickets online for priority boarding. You can also leave from the NJ side where the lines are much shorter.
- Thiru Selvan SathiamoorthyApril 24, 2012Reserve online for a time and u'll be in in a flash! If u have a citypass good luck getting on the ferry!
