Tom yum (hot and sour) soup with pork was delicious! Good hole in the wall local spot. They have you write down your order by item number so easy for non-Thai speakers to eat here too!

Here is popular seafood restaurant around Thong Lo st. among locals. People make an queued around peak time (19:00-19:30). But after that, you may be able to enter this restaurant without waiting.

Delicious clams. Also had chicken with cashew nuts and fried fish innards (a bit too greasy). Tried to order Ka prow ka pod pla as mentioned by Joanne but they no idea what we were talking about. ;)

The best meal we've had in Bangkok (we've been here innumerable times). Clams, stir fried veges and snow fish with soy a real highlight.

Phenomenal local seafood restaurant. Get the steamed shrimp with garlic, clams with basil and chili and steamed butterfish with soy sauce!

Street food open late and w/ AC room. Good w/ beer & better if drunk. Awful for MSG sensitive ppl. Huge menu & they often make special orders. Beware motos and roaches speeding by.
