There are many great places to eat in the West Loop. I'm a huge fan of Girl & The Goat. The food and drinks are awesome, as is Chef Stephanie Izard. - Taking a photo from any of the bridges over the Kennedy/Dan Ryan is recommended. Video too. You can get some cool stuff from that vantage point.
The trai is easy to catch and it's only one block from Washington where you can get the bus connecting up to Michigan n- Be careful walking along Madison near the Kennedy - cars speed up to get on the highway. Walk a block north on Washington or south on Monroe to avoid the ramps.
- Choose a restaurant along Randolph - the locals know it as Restaurant Row. You might even run into a celebrity or two.
