- Chiara MarieJune 19, 2013Lovely cafès, bars, hosts a large Scandinavian community. If you're blessed with a sunny day go and look at the sunset from the nearest beach which has mountain view too.

- Check out the Anex for oysters. Delicious! Just remember, oysters are only for months with an 'R'.

- Ballard Coffee Works has "frosted lattes" aka vanilla milkshake with espresso. Need I say more?
- Great neighborhood to live in. Everything is within walking distance.
- The hipster spillover from Fremont doesn't seem to bother the locals, as long as they stick to crawling up and down Ballard ave.
