- Schmuel Tan Wei ZhiMay 16, 2019I always come here for the wanton noodles. Everytime I comeback overseas, this is the first place I go to eat.
- Terence TMay 17, 2011The beef meat for the Teochew Beef Kway Teow is so tender! And the soup is just superb. Highly recommended!
- Order from Aunty rojak and the fried dumplings stall.
- You might find a hot beer lady called Xiaoyan and she serves the best drinks in town.
- Ong OliverJune 13, 2014The Hock Lam street Beef Kway Teow stall sucks. Over rated. The seller very haughty and stingy. The chilli cannot take extra from him. There are other better Beef Kway Teow stalls around.
- Shelby NguiMarch 20, 2011The thai food is inexpensively tasty. Try it. And you can't beat a good 24hr eatery in siglap. Really.
- The Thai food doesn't do it for me. Uses a lot of fishball/fishcake/crabstick instead of the real stuff. Try jai Thai near katong instead.. Cheap n good!
- The roti john is madness... huge for its price. A must try if you're a roti john lover.
- The mixed rice stall has tasty dishes and yet affordable.
- Chicken basil, red and green curry from the Thai stall won't disappoint you! ;)
- The Teochew beef kway teow is delish! Soup/dry both very tasty!
- If you're looking for friendly staff as mentioned in one other tip, do not come for late night supper, because that's when they're all pissy.
- Erik LimOctober 1, 2011Empress place beef quay tiao have no price on the board came to eat that day was $3.50 but today's rice is $5.50 careful!!!!
- Empress Place Teochew Beef Kway Teow is tops. Especially if the boss David or his wife prepares it.
- Dante AbelardeSeptember 20, 2010Try everything here. A little something new each visit is a good thing. Friendly staff too!
- Gordon's vadai closed down. Replacement stall Dough Empire's vadai is not the same. Dunno abt their pastries tho.
- Russell NgoiSeptember 12, 2014The drink stall service is quite bad. They all seem forgetful and deaf.
- It used to be our favorite dinner place, but standards have dropped so we hardly come here anymore except for the occasional Thai meal. Really nice, spicy and very reasonably priced!! A must!
- Kath AlanoJune 26, 2010Thot popiah was gonna be awesome. It had the "smelly vegetable" inside!! Wc i found out was coriander.
- Popiah stall shifted inside already. It's no longer outside by it's own.
- The pasta portion OK. But ingredients are hopelessly little.. taste is inconsistent. last time ordering the pasta.
- Try the beef noodles and thai fish cakes. Absolutely delighful...
- Kingston NgDecember 6, 2010The drinks stall uncle attitude is *]%~£~+¥|£+... Too bad he's the only one selling drinks.
