They call their brisket sandwich famous for a reason, the meat just melts in your mouth with every bite.

One of the best deli spots in Washington D.C. The Parisian, Mikey's Special, and #175 (corned beef w Russian dressing) are all worth the trip. They also have spectacular pastries and baked items.

For those outside the Beltway, Wagshal’s has just launched a website that sells the signature brisket as well as a handful of other tasty noshes. Read more

Best sandwiches you can buy anywhere; great beer selection; good hot bar. They've got you covered.

Huge variety, nice staff, but it would've been nice if my veggie sandwich had the carrots and Swiss that were advertised, especially for $7.99.

Get the brisket. “The pastrami’s flesh is dark and has a distinctive dark black line of crust around it that none of the other pastramis here do.” Read more

Check the wooden boxes in front of the counter for pre made sandwiches. You may save yourself a long wait.

Thought the basket sandwich was WAY too greasy. The bread melted in a pool of fat. The #75 (beef tongue) sandwich was amazing though.

Surprisingly awesome liquor selection. Twinkles are over-rated. Brisket sandwich is excellent.

Go into the wine shop and ask Kate to show you some wines from the "mitten" (Michigan) and while you are at it, grab some CapRock Organic Colorado Gin!
