- David LytleDecember 8, 2012Be sure to visit at low tide and wear some sturdy beach shoes so you can walk out amongst the big rocks separating the two beaches to discover tidal pools of anemones, crabs and sea stars!
- Secil SansevenJuly 14, 2016It was really cold when we visited, but still some people swim. Lovely place for weekend trip. Also it is very close to Muir Woods.
- Sarah Beth JenningsFebruary 28, 2014Beautiful view of huge crashing waves. Take the trail on the left past the beach to the bluff right there for another breathtaking view.
- BérengerNovember 25, 2015I prefer Muir to Stinson Beach. It's really nice and quiet here. Feels a bit more secluded in this small bay.
- David CoronadoMarch 7, 2015Small local beach that isn't "touristy". Climb over the rocks north to the smaller beach it feels like a secret/personal beach.
- Christopher McadamsApril 1, 2013Gorgeous!!! Wasn't too crowded either. People were nice and after you have fun in the sun stop at the Pelican Pub for a pint!
- Danny DMay 24, 2013The drive from the Golden Gate Bridge to this beach might have been the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel... The drive isn't for the faint of heart, though.
- Mikahla VicinoOctober 28, 2015There's an amazing view from the peak that branches from the outlook point.
- Jeff DesiraJuly 8, 2013Haven't been here since maybe the mid-90's. Had to stop by, walk the trails and smell the Ocean :)
- Ocean Beach BulletinOctober 23, 2011This isn't Muir Beach. Muir Beach is on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marin County.
- Arrive before 10am to beat the crowds. Take a hike before setting up on the beach for lunch.
- SamanthaApril 1, 2010Dont take the driftwood for your fire or else the lesbian security patrol will yell at you!
