- ZuLDecember 12, 2011Just tried the nasi goreng ayam penyet @ warong penyet super, the chicken crispy 9/10 the fried rice 8/10 the sambal for the ayam penyet 7.5/10. Overall its ok but still cant beat the best..
- Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake): Bee Kee #01-144 serves like Chey Sua @ Toa Payoh. They pour egg mix onto pre-fried cubes, & thoroughly mixes the lot. What u get is omelette fragrance w every bite!
- Wantan mee. Old-school feel from Hoe Soon #01-158. Their larger serving $3.50 comes with 4 wantans (instead of 3), a lot more char siew slices, extra noodles. Could do w more vege 😬

- Chicken rice. The 'white' (boiled) chicken meat fr Ji De Lai #01-152 could do with more bite. Possible overcooked. Ask them to go easy on overpowering sauce poured over meat. Rice is fragrant
- Soya Milk. In a shootout between A) Lian Yin #01-148, B) Soya Bean & Jelly Drink #01-136, and C) Whampoa Soya Bean #01-167, A was the thickest & more fragrant drink, followed by C
- Fishball noodles. Shootout between Xiang Xiang 01-177 & neighbour Lu Xiang Ji 01-179, and Xiang Xiang emerged the winner with honest flavourful fishballs. Long wait though

- Snow QueenMay 5, 2017Chong Pang Chwee Kueh used to be very nice but they are getting more and more oilier. Those unfriendly aunties simply pour oil onto the chwee kueh. No longer buying from them nowadays.
- Soya drink: Found the stall fellow 4SQ users r talking abt. Lian Yin #01-148. U can't miss it; there's a queue ;-) My drink was smooth & fragrant

- Awesome youzharkuay and soyabean with just the right amt of sugar and soyabean. Xiangxiang yuyuan mee has one of the springiness fishball around. Simple and delicious.
- Absolute love for the NEE SOON MEE HOON KUEH stall. ❤️ the ban mian is awez.

- The mixed rice is simple but great! Fish ball noodles at #01-177 give big and numerous fishballs for e price u pay. Bak chor mee is great too!
