LauraNovember 4, 2014Ribs that fall off the bone and very moist brisket! I don't think u can go wrong with any of the meats here. Dirty rice and cole slaw are good. Ranch beans were ok. Amazing family friendly hospitality
Allen ArcadeMay 21, 2014This is now my favorite brisket in Houston. I followed another customer's and asked for "burn ins" with the it. Also the spicy deer sausage is nice and lean. BBQ sauce is ok.
You might have to wait a bit to get your good (especially during lunch) so be prepared to be patient. The flavor on the rubbed ribs and the tenderness of the brisket is worth the wait.

Jacob AJanuary 4, 2015Dear god in heaven this might be the best BBQ in Houston. Ribs fell off the bone, char on the brisket was perfect, and I'm not a fan of sauce at all but DAMN!
Catherine AJuly 27, 2013The ribs fall off the bone and fatty brisket is phenomenal. Great dirty rice, as well. Sauce is kind of spicy, so I should have gotten slaw to cool things down. Sausage is ok, but brisket is king here
Randy ShumateAugust 25, 2013The bbq was the best I've had in houston. If you get there after 12 you may not get any brisket or pulled pork. We arrived after 1230 and missed out but will be back again.

JennNovember 16, 2011The ribs & brisket are excellent. The ranch beans and hot green bean salad are tasty with a bit of barbecue sauce added. Avoid ordering turkey - it's totally dry. Small cafe, quaint and friendly.
John CMay 28, 2013Had the fatty (loose) brisket, special deer sausage, and dirty rice. The brisket was tender & moist, but really didn't have any smoke flavor. I'm a big fan of smoke. Service was pleasant and quick.

Haven't had a bad dish here yet! Sliced brisket, chopped brisket, and pulled pork are all amazing.
