- mayoSeptember 14, 2010I remember the original Penang restaurants in SoHo and the East Village. Most dishes are a fair reproduction, but the sotong goreng has been a letdown of late. Morgan and Emil make it worth the trip.
- Ashani MfukoDecember 3, 2011The Crispy Squid is to die for!! Everything is good here though, and the ambiance is very zen and romantic!
- Natasha HuangOctober 7, 2012Roti Cani is a must get appetizer. Really love the rendang noodles as well.
- Rohaizan SallehudinJune 24, 2011The curry laksa was awesome! As authentic as the one they make in Malaysia! I should know LOL
- Soong lettuce wrap appetizer is fantastic. Very filling. It's a special. I'm hoping it will be around for a while.
- Lunch special is a good deal if you're a fan of lots of food. I usually substitute the spring roll for extra salad.
- Kristi EvansOctober 19, 2010Went for lunch special. Soup, salad and entree came at same time - annoying. Basil chicken is mediocre/heat lamped to death.
- I'm a big fan of the steamed poh-piah, but it's not what you might think, so ask Morgan to describe it.
- Johannes SchunterJune 7, 2012Didn't like the thin fish cakes much. Felt like fast food. Had them way better at other places.
- Alice MalfoyFebruary 26, 2013they DON'T have laksa soup.. what is a Malaysian place without it?.. and this radio music totally ruins the atmosphere.. :(
