- Economy rice ('chai png'). You wouldn't guess from the sign but Ah Xi Prawn Crackers #01-83 serves honest cooking. Home-style dishes by middle age local couple. Enjoyed their tasty curry sauce
- Lor Mee. The gravy from Soon Heng #01-84 is tasty, which I suspect has lots of MSG. Crispy bits hv both sweetness & crunch. No fish meat. This bowl $4
- Fried dumpling (guo tie) is yummy! From Zhong Guo La Mian Xiao Long Bao #01-75. A rising star in this food centreUpvoted Feb 12
- Local kopi. Surprisingly aromatic & smooth local coffee from Swee Heng #01-80. Be patient though, as an elderly couple operates the stall, and orders can take some time (or get mistaken)
- Claypot rice. Surprising find from 广东香港味道 01-66. My claypot chicken rice had generous amount of vegetables in the single serving. And bits of salted fish in the baked rice
- Vegetarian options: Popiah, rojak, vegetarian bee hoon, yu tiao, tau hueh (soya beancurd), Nonya kuehs, kueh pie ti, cut fruits. If eggs ok: fried carrot cake, kaya toast
- Good prata from Shafima 01-94. The 'kosong' (plain) was crispy yet chewy. My egg-onion combo was tasty with their standard dhal curry
- Wantan mee fr Shun Xing #01-89 may be known for their old-school style, but the sauce in ours was too salty! Silky wantans were the only saving grace

- allison keanMay 24, 2015excellent sichuan dumplings and steamed buns at the dumpling stall. nice ABC pork soup as well.
- Quite a small hawker centre. Only two rows of stalls (facing each other). No (pseudo) western food
- Char kway teow inconsistent. Some say too wet. Mine came too dry & with bare minimum condiments. Plus grumpy serving uncle. Not ordering again
- Michelle TanJuly 22, 2013Fishball noodles, haha prawn noodles stall, braised duck rice is quite nice and cheap!
- Duck noodles at #01-82, lor mee at #01-84, tutu cake at #01-88 and soya bean at #01-79
- Try the fishball noodles at #01-68. Open from 6am to 1pm but close on every Thursday & Friday
- Do not visit the place during the lunar new year period as most shops will be closed.
- The Nasi Lemak & Beehoon Stall At The Corner Is Cheap And Good !
- Gotta try the Old Zion Road Hawker Centre fried kway teow #01-65! The best so far.
- Dont find the prawn noodle nice. Blk 51 prawn noodle is nicer.
- Hmmm...nice food but abit sian after eating for abt 10yrs xD
- New chicken rice stall claims $1 chicken rice promotion but charges $2. Beware.
- You can get a full meal here for just $2! Many choices such as Duck noodle, fish ball noodles ... A glass of soya bean drink is only 60 cents
- For some reason today's char kway teow is wetter than normal. not nice at all.
