- Eggs & French toasts for breakfast? Track down Chinese-signed stall 古苓精怪麵包 (Gu Lin Jing Guai Mian Bao) #01-33. Eggs (fried or sunny-side up), ham or luncheon meat slices, pork sausages. Unique meal
- Yam cake. Delighted w lots of yam cubes in the preparation by 经济小吃摊 #01-42. Sauces (sweet & chilli) were light, not excessively sweet nor spicy. This plate w chee cheong fun (steamed rice rolls) $1.60
- ShelovaSeptember 14, 2023The chilli ban mian #01-58 is a die die must try. Soon kue stall , the skin is fantastic. Chok kee duck and cheesecake tart at 01-56 (near ban mian stall). Cheesecake tart is sooo good.
- Bak Chor Mee (minced pork noodles). Rojak dish from Bang Bang #01-25. Edible. Minced & sliced pork, fish cake slices, 'her giao' (fish dumpling), pork ball, fried wantan, lettuce leaf, mushroom slice
- Fried chicken wings. The fried wings from Hong Mei #01-72 were delicious! The batter was crispy, the meat decently marinated. A breakfast spot, so order it with fried bee hoon
- Yummy chai tow kway (fried carrot cake) from 华记菜头粿 Carrot Cake #01-52 (albeit using quite a bit of MSG). Don't be deceived by lack of queue; waiting time on weekends is 15mins
- Hainanese curry rice. Victory #01-40 is affordable. While a friend had recommended the stall, I didn't taste anything I'd come back for. Curry was overly 'lemak' (creamy); pork chop was thick & limp
- Claypot rice. Hole-in-wall 01-18 sees a constant stream of regulars & fans. I was pleased with the layer of cabbage over the dish & the aromatic salted fish. Chilli sauce packs a punch!
- Mee rebus. Enjoyed my plate from Suhaime's #01-74 (corner stall in centre). Sauce was thick, sweet w occasional bite of dried shrimp. They claim on their sign that recipe's of Geylang Lor 1 fame
- Fishball noodles. Get yourself an honest bowl of Teochew fishball noodles fr Mui Kee #01-2817. Simple & fragrant. Comes with 'he kiao' (fish dumplings) & fish cake slices
- Yong Tau Foo. JJ #01-07 sells fixed sets. Items in a bowl of soup or as fried combo. Enjoyed the fried items ($4) with a bowl of noodles (50-cents)
- Soya sauce chicken noodle. Compared to Chiew Kee along Upp Cross St, dish fr Sheng Kee #01-2795 is not as mouth-watering. But portion is generous. Wantan mee is also above ave (served w shuigao!)
- Duck rice: $3 buys u this. Duck meat yummy, w starchy-style sauce. Enjoyed it their punchy sour chilli sauce. Soup appeared diluted, altho can still taste herbs. Didn't taste any yam @ all in rice :-(
- Wantan mee: When ordering WTM fr Hock Ann #01-64, note that the jovial stallholder serves just wantans. No vege, no char siew (BBQ pork) slices. Simple comfort meal :-)
- Children's playground. Many nearby, the nearest right under Blk 67. Two more about 5 mins walk away from the hawker centre, below Blk 64 Kallang Bahru - offering a river view
- Wantan noodles. It was tasty while eating a plate from Ming Ji #01-45. After my meal, my tongue felt numb, usually from too much MSG. Noodle was 'q' (springy). Char siew (BBQ pork) was decent
- DIY popiah: Fortune Food #01-28 sells handmade (actually central kitchen) Popiah skin ($15/kg), ground peanuts, crispy bits, chilli sauce, etc to host ur own Popiah party @ home. Nice.
- Chwee kueh (steamed rice cakes). The chai por toppings (chopped preserved radish) from 69 Chwee Kueh #01-43 is flavourful. Don't need a lot
- Nasi lemak (Malay style). The chilli from Suhaime’s #01-74 is more spicy than sweet. For $3.50, u get this serving. Rice was lightly fragrant
- Epok epok (curry puff). Get this 50-cent snack from Suhaime‘s #01-74. I enjoy them freshly fried but this will hv to do when I’m feeling peckish
- Sliced Fish Soup. 大碗公 01-19 prepares affordable bowls of clear fish soup. For added depth of flavours, order with fish maw
- For drivers. Besides open-air carparks nearby, there’s a MSCP at Blk 65 (enter from Kallang Bahru road). Then follow the covered walkway to the food centre. Convenient on hot & rainy days
- Postal box is located between blocks 70A (back of town council office) & 68. Near it (in the background of the photo) is a SAM unit, to purchase stamps, pay bills/fines & more
- Chilli ban mian. Unimpressed with Hui Wei Chilli Ban Mian #01-58. Unlike KL-style chilli ban mian, the paste gives chilli-heads a good kick, but overwhelms the bowl. Too much black sauce, too sweet
- Bak chor mee: Bendemeer Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle #01-2741 is unexpectedly tasty! Right mix of sauce, although my fried wantans were 'lao hong' (turned soft)
- Prata. Very home-style from Babu's Corner 01-78. Curry was 1 of the thickest I've had. Expect slower service as a single middle-age woman is doing all the cooking

- My go-to local coffee. My kopi was very smooth & fragrant; none of that musty coffee sachet smell. Honest recommendation by another food stall when I asked who brewed the best kopi in this food centre
- BLSeptember 28, 2010All the food there very nice & cheap!!! Especially the fruit juice ~ Very tasty!! All freshly make with very cheap price up to $2.50. Stall people are friendly & easy going..
- Vegetarian. 萬佛世界 #01-55 offers a wide variety of plant-based, beyond the boring gluten-based ones. Generous servings too
- ATMs next to food centre. UOB ATM @ southern corner of centre. POSB next to that, on level 1 of NTUC block. Inside NTUC level 2, DBS/POSB & OCBC
- Dabao-ed home the black carrot cake and it still tasted so good!

- Hock Ann is always my fave stalls and I love the carrot cake beside red stove
- When Hong Mei #01-72 is closed, the fried bee hoon-chicken wing crowd get their fix from Ah Yong #01-30
- Prawn noodles. Average serving from Everyone Prawn Noodle #01-08. Soup was light in flavour & aroma. Thinly sliced fish cakes lacks bite. Lean pork slices were overcooked

- Wantan mee: WTM prepared by Shi De Fu #01-2835 was salty; char siew slices bland. While wantans hv nice ingredients like chopped water chestnut, the whole dish was average. Order if u r not fussy
