- Li-Sha LaparSeptember 22, 2015The Kong Bak Pau (or Asian Sliders) were so yum yum delicious and at only $7.50. It definitely matched well with their smooth (albeit mediocre-tasting) coffee. Friendly service too, love this place!
- NikJuly 21, 2013Went here for a Latte after lunch. Supposed to be top 10 in Singapore, but I wouldn't agree with that. Great place for brunch. Go early cuz it gets VERY busy. Will definitely go back for food sometime
- CY WongJanuary 29, 2014The Truffles Mushroom Sandwich is made with whole grain bread, truffle oil, grilled portobello mushroom & rocket greens. A very tasty sandwich that is light on the palate. A MUST TRY! $11 (Jan 2014)
- BrandyCokeJanuary 19, 2016Food is amazing! The brunch is a must try, for over-easy egg lovers, finally a place that does not give u a fried egg instead... Two thumbs up!
- Bokyung ParkDecember 3, 2017Nestled in a trendy expat area Tiong Bahru. Love the strong coffee flavour here. You have to order at a counter the moment you walk in the door. Worth it, as part of visiting this neighborhood.
- Alistair CookApril 7, 2013The Jamaican Pork sandwich is by far the best sandwich on the menu. The Mediterranean Lamb sandwich nowhere near. Breakfasts are small portions but tasty worth keeping in mind if you want to fill up.
- Vanessa QuekApril 16, 2014The poached salmon is so creamy! Big portion thats meant to be shared! Bread is crisp and good. Muscle Susan or Susie salad is a good mix.., pumpkin was thin and crunchy... Love the figs!
- Keith PittFebruary 25, 2015This place is great. Food is amaze, coffee is very well made. I had the eggs benedict with steak and it's changed my life. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
- LiuAugust 27, 2017Nice place to chill out. I like the sandwiches more than the salads as some veggies not too fresh. Will come again for other dishes.
- Juits HJuly 27, 2013Lovely coffee that you could savour the coffee within. Cheaper than conventional coffee chains. Be prepared to queue for approx 10-15mins! Absolutely worth the wait! :)
- Pooja Shah TaleraSeptember 6, 2017Avo toast is the best in Singers. Do try their tau sa pau (red bean paste bun).
- Sarah CapecciJanuary 24, 2017The pork buns (Asian Slider) were really tasty. The service isn't very good, they rush you a lot even though you pay upfront and it's empty. The coffee is good but it's a bit too acidic.
- Eileen LinJuly 17, 2015Always thumbs up ! Eggs cocotte - spinach truffle mushroom with 2 poached eggs ! Love this !
- Eileen LinSeptember 13, 2014Very good coffee and eggs cocotte is so delicious , truffle oil mushroom spinach in the bowl !
- Lexelle de CharmaineMarch 25, 2016Only suitable for eat-alls... Too much mix of meats. Kong bak is thicker than my face, hubby prefers traditional thin slices. Too much star anise. Tau sar pau fresh and smooth but not to die for.
- Shn JuayApril 7, 2012Who would have thought this cafe sells the best Tau Sa buns I've ever eaten? Kong Ba buns are on the Asian slider too!
- Great coffee as usual. They have a new sandwich menu! Cubanos, me gusto mucho!
- Benson TohJanuary 6, 2012Had a breakfast of cappuccino n a cookie. Nothing to rave about. In fact any reg coffee chain can match it, some even better. Will ve to try the real food minus the cap next visit
- Chloe KhorAugust 31, 2018Tau sa pao is to die for, good coffeee but can be crowded during weekend. Be prepared to wait
- Silvia CarolineAugust 26, 2013Compact and cute coffee house, good coffee, love the toffee choc cake and carrot cake. Next time will try the brunch menu.
- Constance | @croostifoodiMay 18, 2014You cannot go wrong with the eggs ben accompanied by spicy sautéed potatoes and a juicy steak
- The weekend brunches are from 8am-6pm on saturdays! Choose the Cocotte & Eggs Benedict for choice l'ouefs not just for mornings.
- Chia-Peck WongJuly 1, 2012Had egg cocotte for the 1st time. Poached eggs with sautéed spinach and truffle mushroom w toast. Simply divine! W my must-have soy flat White too!
- Jean YongOctober 19, 2014Coffee is a bit off even though it comes with nice coffee art. The tausabao is quite good though.
- GAry WongJune 16, 2015Coffee always consistent. Had the eggs cocotte, I would prefer more spinach portion and less mushrooms.
- Nitzan ResslerOctober 24, 2016Had a great salad and a flat white. They also have some dishes with truffles that were tempting
- ElleMay 17, 2013If u r looking for a wallop in the a.m. Their 4-region house blend double shot under-extracted espresso packs a punch!! G'day mate!
- Michelle DingJuly 26, 2012Like the cappuccino here! :) head on across the street for an interesting quirky bookstore experience at Books Actually. Good afternoon spent!
- BijukNovember 16, 2013I love how the coffee smell filled up the room. Btw its tau sar pau is fluffly and good!
- Mona BJanuary 10, 2017delicious salad with feta, macadamia, bacon, spinach and sweet potato + cold brew.
- Jamaican Pork Sandwich: Pretty good stuff, reminds me of the very old (15 yrs back) PS Cafe's green curry chicken mango chutney sandwich. In other words, it's interesting, they got it right.
- Kenny LowMay 6, 2014Gotta try the truffle mushroom toastie! Yumm! And be warned that they don't have high chairs for kids...
- ZiriadJune 12, 2011Macchiato is one of the best in Singapore, cool atmosphere especially during the week. WE a bit crowded.
- Great place to hang down at Tiong Bahru. One of the pioneers turning the neighbourhood into a hip place to be seen in. Serves breakfast too !
- JenniferSeptember 28, 2013Area is compact and it gets crowded during brunch. Loved the truffle mushroom toastie. The Mediterranean lamb toastie wasn't bad either. Coffee is just okay.
- Alan BrutenicJune 18, 2015One of the best and Hip coffee places in Singapore. Ask them why they are called 40hands.
- Anita RamkumarAugust 9, 2014The best coffee in Singapore! Also like the breakfast menu, eggs cocotte gets 10/10.
- Fredrik StenbeckSeptember 1, 2013It is rare, very rare, but finally a place that makes really good cappuccino in Singapore!
- ANNA CHEWFebruary 22, 2016The coffee can be thrown out the window, like engine oil. The Long black is definitely not using the right beans, sour beyond palatable taste and the piccolo is way too strong. Worst coffee ever in SG
- Martina MaitanAugust 7, 2014Nice place for brunches. I felt a bit packed: they squeezed as much table as they can. Ask for stay in the room outside. Small juices 8$ but good cakes 7-8$.
- Gourmet hot dogs on the menu now...tried the Big Bang which was not as big as I thought it would be but it tasted good!
- Cheen The CuriousJanuary 25, 2012Coffee: My personal yardstick 4 gd coffee is how they concoct their long black. The 1 here was generously thick & fragrant
- truffle mushroom sandwich. ottoman hotdog (spicy yummy goodness). never fails.
- Kars AlfrinkMarch 12, 2016They have a strong reputation for coffee but don't serve filter. The espresso is fine but on the dark side. Verdict: style over substance.
- Serene YeeJanuary 31, 2012Their Truffle Mushroom Sandwich is a definite winner. Goes well with the good coffees they serve.
- Time Out SingaporeMay 12, 2011You won’t go wrong with the steamed bun – a softer, fluffier and way bigger pau than old favourites like Tanjong Rhu Read more
