- Lor mee. Enjoyed my $4 bowl from Soon Heng #02-19. Lots of textures with their generous ingredients. Lor sauce was not overly starchy
- Nasi lemak. Unimpressed with overall dish from Makan Sutera #02-39. While rice was lightly fragrant & chilli sauce substantially spicy sweet, the other fried items were a waste of space. $3 for this
- Tau suan. While the split mung beans from Yimei #02-17 were properly cooked, base was very starchy/sticky. Black sesame bowl was also overly thickened
- Kopi (local coffee): Compared several stalls & asked some stall-holders. Ah Teck Coffee Stall #02-24 is d favourite. D flavour & taste were smoother. A close 2nd is nearby Ka Fei Xiang #02-19

- The food centre is now back open. Many stalls have changed since it was closed for almost a year, so many of the tips here are obsolete.
- Fried carrot cake: There r 2 stalls. Prefer stall 02-51 as it's less oily, & more imptly, more flavourful!
