    Great way to make your way into DC on a bike - trail runs parallel to the bridge. You can take stairs down to Ohio Drive to access the National Mall.

    Walk or bike between DC & Crystal City. It's scenic (monuments) and short.

    Utilize break down lanes to quickly get to the bridge, and once on it, be in one of the far left lanes, else be stuck there for the entire morning.

    HOV lanes open to all traffic all the time. Non-HOV southbound exit after the bridge between 3:30-6:00 pm mon-fri to avoid a ticket. Take northbound HOV to avoid bridge construction on non-HOV lanes.
