Prudy KlingerAugust 26, 2013Staff is very friendly and helpful. Yes the elevators can be seriously slow. But sometimes they're pretty quick. I like being a few blocks away from Times Square. This is a nicely, quieter area.
Excellent hotel, great staff, good breakfast and extremelly fast wifi! Ask for a top floor and a room with a view! Close to the Subway, but the elevator is a mess, during Rush hours!
JK KarabaicDecember 11, 2019Elevators suck. Three slow ones, and one is out of service for 6 months (projected) starting 11/19/2019. If you are able, get a low floor & use stairs. Otherwise, excellent value! The spinach ricotta ravioli was heavenly.
Great hotel. Artisan sandwiches every morning. Stable Internet connection in the room and the elevators seem to be working fine. Get floors 8 and below if you dont want to wait.
Happy hour with cold snacks and free wine and beer (no cocktails) from 5:30pm - 7pm Monday thru Thursday. Sorry, but no weekend hours.

They truly live up to the reputation as the nicest hotel staff in nyc. Phenomenal job on working with my high maintenance family! :)

Great hotel, perfect location. But too crowded at breakfast and takes ages to wait for the elevator.
hotel made a room with tables for breakfast buffet. this hotel does a very nice job.low floors are better because the elevators can be an issue
- Full kitchen in every room - stove top with two burners, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher. Plus complimentary breakfast and evening reception.
The elevators are slow when the hotel is busy. It's quicker to walk down from the 30th floor than take the elevator. And if you're on the 5th floor or below, do everyone a favor and walk up!
Great hotel fast Internet and nice amenities but really slow elevators! Not enough to not stay here though. If your below the 5th floor. Please take the stairs.
Nice rooms and impressive service, capped off w a nice happy hour (M-Th), and very veg-friendly weekday breakfast!
Bit weird eating your breakfast in a packed out hotel lobby but the presence of Lucky Charms more than made up for it. Wi-fi in each room a major plus & comfy beds.
The 5:30 to 7pm unwind mixer is like a mini meal with free wine and beer. Very tasty.

Dylan BoydMarch 25, 2014Note.. the elevators are rough here. At times 8am to 9:45 am could take 20 minutes to have one arrive. Use the stairs.
The corner studios have more room than the middle rooms. Ask for one facing uptown for a nice view on the upper floors over the Port Authority building.

Don't be one of the crazies who feels the need to bring their suitcases for breakfast. It is busy enough without unnecessary luggage
Elevators take forever. Rooms have a full kitchen, but it isn't enough for me to stay here regularly

Chris RevelleSeptember 12, 2017Rooms are cheap and beaten up. Slow elevators and were given a warning to give ourselves 15 minutes when using them in the morning.
Large Duane and a 7-11 nearby to pick up drinks and snacks for your fridge. Very clean and new. Nice staff.

Far CarSeptember 30, 2014Just checked in and the AC is not working! The maintenance told us he can give is fan (I mean really?) We are so exhausted from walking around and now they have to transfer us to a different room!
