While service continues to get slower and slower, and burger doneness is a toss-up, there’s no doubt these are amazing burgers. Wednesday slider happy hour is worth it- they’re great!

Went to Bernie's Burger Bus for the first time today & they did not disappoint! The food was delicious! I had The Principal with bacon and the truffle fries it was delicious! I can't wait to go back!

These burgers are served out of an old school bus, and accordingly have names like "The Principal" and "The Bully." All patties are made with a custom Black Angus grind and homemade condiments.

Ask for their secret menu! They have keto friendly meals and also creative burgers such as the Mac N Cheetos and the popusas burger. I already want to come back

Easily my favorite burger place in Houston. "Truffle" parm fries are dope. Burger was amazing. Looking forward to going back. Up there with Hopdoddys!

Great paleo and gluten free options. It can get a bit pricey as you pay separate for fries. But a great option to entertain your non paleo friends too.

The "Show & Tell" Fries- hand cut fries layered with goat cheese, crispy pecan smoked bacon, chipotle blackberry bbq sauce, pickled red onions, & scallions. Only the secret menu.

I had been wanting to grab lunch here; after all, who can resist the allure of a food truck! Their fries are pure magic! And the ketchup? Otherworldly! A small is enough for two people, too.

Everything here is great, but it is even more special when it's lobster season and their menu is expanded. Their lobster roll is to die for!

The place stays true to its theme. However, the fact that the burgers are good and an order of fries comes with more than you could ask for, it is a little on the pricey side.

Quick service (once you're seated), same delicious burgers as the bus, awesome truffle fries and solid booze selection. Great concept, good execution.

One of the best - Top 5 - burgers in Houston. The "drunk onions" on the burger are heavenly.

Try the Homeroom Burger (bacon, fried egg, tipsy onions, chili aioli) and add some truffle fries with green onions & parmesan on the side!

One of Houston's better burgers, provided you keep it simple. Very pricy, kinda overhyped. Service can be spotty. Definitely try the various smothered fries!

So good!! The substitute was excellent. You should probably add mayo to it when you order. And the fries are to die for !

Lunch Lady Fries, Burgers and Shakes! So sad that they will no longer be open after this Sunday 😢 gonna have to swing by and grab some lunch lady fries, for old times sake.

The burgers are good. But, it's on the pricy side. I ordered "the Principal" and an ice tea. $16 after the tip. I would have tipped over $20 for lunch, if I had ordered fries. Not worth it.

My burger was excellent (The Cheerleader), but the ketchup was weird... almost like marinara. The truffle fries were good, but I'd probably try something else next time.

Amazing burgers and truffle fries, shame that the Lizzard is such a lame place to eat it at (ants all over the outside tables for a start).

Like the food truck, but with air conditioning and chairs! The burgers are less greasy because they don't come wrapped up in their own juices.

Had a principal no cheese as all burgers have cheese. Burger was loosely packed and too thin making for dry burger. The fries were ok but catsup was disgusting like a tomato candy. Total over $17+tip

Visited there today and waited 45 minutes. My wife is 8 months pregnant and it was a long time to stand. We had to leave before trying out the food. Will try again. Be ready to wait.

Be sure to ask for your burger to be cooked to a certain temperature. They tend to be well done if you don't specify otherwise.
