Pit beef.... is really tender, tasty and comes in a good portion for what you are paying. Bbq beans where great with smash potatoes. Bit expensive but good atmosphere and view of Saint Paul.
The soul of the fire meets the passion for the service. What an anazing experience. Amazing beef, starters, drinks with a view to die for. Must go for a celebration.
Selection of meat grilled in the true spirit of origins of bbq in Brasilia. Great wine and Scotch list. Great for groups for drinks and dining with great view of St.Paul's.
Book a table with the StPaul’s view it’s spectacular especially after dusk. To splash out - order chateaubriand (medium rare), it’s top notch. Broccoli with miso was yummy as a side.
You have to sit at table 71 with view to St. Pauls Cathedral and..... no matter how much you ate you have to try the White Chocolate Cheesecake with Blood Orange Sherbet
The interior doesn't interfere with the dinner experience. The food and drinks are great. I wish the 2-person tables were rotated to 90 degrees so that both people can enjoy the view.
I found the surf and turf oysters appetizer to be delicious! Perfect balance with the tempura battered oysters w/ the lemon wedge and a light puréed tomato dipping sauce!
Amazing food with fabulous views of St.Pauls. Bread and olives a must and for the burgers lovers best burger with fantastic side order of mushrooms and coleslaw.
Friendly, helpful and well-informed staff are on hand to help you out with your meaty choices and they also have their own butchers adjacent, where you can pick up British meat, poultry and game.
Fantastic food with an amazing eye level view of St. Paul's Cathedral and the waiters are helpful & polite. Overall, the food is excellent and reasonably priced, unlike their expensive drinks menu!
Try to get a view of St. Paul's - it's great. Otherwise hawksmoor has better steaks and there are better, cheaper options for bbq food in London (the joint, hotbox, etc)
I complimented the surf & turf oysters, but be careful of the pulled pork shoulder. It's TOO rich in flavor. Found myself chasing it down with water & bread. And I still didn't finish it.
Good cocktails and bar staff. The rest really seems like pot luck. Some of the non-meat dishes are trying too hard. Get the St. Paul views if you can to make up for failures elsewhere.
"What with all the books, magazines, TV, charity work etc, it's easy to forget that Jamie Oliver is first and foremost a cook. So is his latest venture, a US-style barbecue joint, another winner?..." Read more
Lacks honesty, a canteen approach to bbq food. Setting is uncomfortable, in trying to be two things, authenticity and soul are lost. Cocktails are good, food is very average. All for quite a price.
this restaurant, although very different, reminds me of Animal in Los Angeles. As a confessed meat lover, bring on the meat meat meat! The steaks here are tops.
Everything Jamie Oliver touches turns to gold. Based around impeccably sourced meat & fish; the restaurant will boast more cooking methods than anywhere else in the UK too. Read more
Great BBQ! Order from the smoked section, don't bother with the overpriced steaks. Read our full review on Scoff London: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/barbecoa-review-ec2/
Overpriced and lacking dishes. Also they seem topretty much serve any meat “rare” regardless how you ordered it. Had the chateaubriand for 2 for 84£ and thinking of becoming a vegetarian after that.
Bad. Worst of all poorly cooked meat, unacceptable at this price point. Burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Too loud inside and drafty from the AC, we had to sit with our jackets on.
