- W ZJuly 19, 2013The spicy ramen is a must have. The broth itself is so tasty i'd drink a bowl without the awesome noodles and toppings. The pork is so smokey and tender! The bacon mochi was strange and delish too!
- Giovanna JonesMay 2, 2016The tuna poke was delicious and very fresh! The Spicy ramen was spicy, the egg was PERFECT, but the noodles and broth were just "ok". The Duck skewers had an excellent flavor to them!
- Diana ArzApril 25, 2016Beautiful place. Bacon mochi was delicious, ramen was disappointing. The slices of pork were very tough (it had to be cooked to the point it's very soft), a bit burned. Maybe because it's Sun night.
- Shirley LiuDecember 23, 2013Yes get the bacon mochi and spicy ramen, but don't miss out on the hamachi crudo, kakuni, and the hamachi kama! Hatake sarada, shiso garlic fried rice, and rolls were decent.
- Nikola NinkovicSeptember 25, 2017Don’t come here for ramen. Do come if you’re looking for a great chicken/pork skewer, and a great selection of sake. Staff was nice!
- JessieJuly 23, 2012The Bacon Mochi is out of this world! A must order!! Our group ordered one to try & quickly ordered a 2nd dish before we even finished the 1st.
- Megan DeWittJanuary 18, 2015Bacon mochi is incredibly underwhelming and gets stuck in your teeth. The spicy ramen broth is good. I like that they use rice bran oil for frying
- Demetri KaragasMay 4, 2015Spicy ramen (with and egg), bacon mochi, and spare ribs all great. Cool little room in the back for groups of 6ish
- Vanessa HFebruary 8, 2012Any of the hamachi dishes are amazing, as is the mixed sampler skewer plate, and the sweet potato donuts with sesame ice cream and caramel (OMG!). Love this place!
- Tobias SchmidtOctober 25, 2017The spicy miso is solid but by no means exceptional. Chewey noodles, good chashu and egg but the broth is a little on the boring side
- Priya SaiprasadFebruary 26, 2014The pork belly spicy ramen and the kara-age fried chicken are both absolutely delicious! I highly recommend!
- Robert GosselinNovember 21, 2014Cocktails are pretty good. Loved the ramen soup and the service. I highly recommand a visit.
- Dan KimAugust 7, 2013The bacon wrapped mochi is out of this world! Spicy ramen also hits the spot on a cold day.
- Jessica GalianaMay 30, 2015Ramen is delicious! Hanashimasu really food and beef tongue spicy with great sauce
- Benjy WeinbergerFebruary 13, 2015The gyoza are on a whole different level to the standard ones you get elsewhere.
- Great food ! Absolutely love bacon mochi and pork belly. Definitely must try.
- Bacon wrapped mochi, hamachi crudo, uni hotate, kara age. Get those.
- Great food, service and ambiance. The short ribs and chicken meatballs had awesome flavor. The spicy ramen a must
- This is the best Japanese Restaurant in the city. Sit at the bar Friday-Sunday and indulge yourself in food and culture with Kasu and the gang!
- Tiffany TaylorJanuary 4, 2013Mochi bacon + grilled ribeye + shisho garlic fried rice. Ohmigosh, so amazing. I hope Bloomspot does another special here!
- Good izakaya is hard to come by in SF - this place is way underrated. Get the hatake sarada
- Lee JonesOctober 16, 2011Overall very tasty and I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the frisée salad and Ramen. Mochi bacon was overrated
- Katrina ZNovember 19, 2011The Tsukune (chicken meatballs) and Mentaimo (grilled potato salad) were the best things we ordered!
- Everything is amazing... I'll post more tips...but the hamachi, avocheezu, kaki, maguro yukke are a great way to start!
- Katherine RohrbacherNovember 24, 2012Don't order a coke. The glasses are so small and with ice it's about a half of a can and THEY CHARGE FOR REFILLS. Otherwise the food is amazing.
- Try our Ramen & Beer special from 5:30 to 7 on weekdays
- Katherine RohrbacherNovember 24, 2012The glass on the right is the soda glass they charge refills on. Pathetic.
- Solid ramen: chasu thick and delicious. Too bad the portion is tiny!
- Mark StewardDecember 31, 2013Nice atmosphere and good drinks, but food orders are a bit chaotic and vegetarian option is nothing special
