- Wantan mee. Surprising good plate from Hock Kee 01-05. Clean distinct taste, generous-sized wantans, enough greens
- Local desserts. Gao Yuan #01-14 offers the usual menu of ice kacang, bubur chacha, ice jelly & red/green bean soup. Cheng tng ($1.70) was peculiar; it included sweet potato cubes. Decent
- Curry puff. Besides yutiao (fried dough fritters), Huang Jin You Tiao #01-21 also sells limited dimsum items & curry puff. The filling for the $1.20 curry puff is mushy; not enjoyable
- Bak chor mee (minced pork noodles). Teck Kee 01-23 is popular for their soupy BCM. Tried dry version instead. Noodles chewy & they break an egg into the soup
- The better 2 kopi at this hawker centre are 1) Wang Xiang #01-06, & 2) Fairy Coffee #01-24. Their brews were stronger & smoother to drink

- Sliced fish soup. Generous bowl from Marsiling Teochew Fish Soup #01-109. $5 bought me a big bowl of fish, vege & fried silky egg
- Duck noodles fr Huang Fu #01-20 was decent. Duck meat was well-cooked & tasty w their chilli sauce. Rare few stalls that serve bowl w vege. However, soup lacked any herbal infusion & was bland
- Fresh soya milk. The serving from Fresh Soya Bean #01-107 is aromatic although slightly diluted
- First neighborhood, market& hawker centre in AMK!🏆 Look for the nearby AMK Heritage Trail marker that elaborates abt the residential development in AMK
- Blk 226D is the market (wet & dry goods), plus 10 foodstalls. The main food joint in Blk 226H
- Vegetarian. Ru Lai #01-108 sells natural plant-based food items. None of that factory-made gluten stuff👍🏼 They may not look appetising, but at least they are not processed
- Benjamin ThomasAugust 27, 2020Best teh halia and masala tea @ #01-28 (Cos the ginger is freshly ground every day, not that instant crap)
- Breakfast bee hoon. Bland preparation from Le An #01-22. They don’t offer any vege side dishes, except in the fried popiah
- Hainanese Chicken Rice. Steamed chicken meat from Chye Kee #01-10 was hard to chew. This was during peak lunch hour on a working day 👎🏼
- TanOctober 31, 2015#01-22 乐安 Le An sells the best fried bee hoon in the morning. Usually sold out by 9am.
