Adrian PhillipsMarch 19, 2015Just discovered that this Guisado's is BYOB, so be sure to bring a six pack. You can't go wrong with any taco on the menu. Try the sampler if you're not sure. Also Horchata + Cold Brew = delicious.
(multi locations) It’s a different style than most taco places in LA. Fresh in house tortillas + braised meats. My fave is the ‘Bistek en Salsa Roja’ taco. Their quesadilla too!
Eduardo HidalgoJuly 20, 2013In some places in México these would be called "tacos varios" and they are GREAT here! You won't find asada, al pastor, tripas, etc. We ordered the "cochinita pibil" with 3 spicy and its very spicy!!!

new place that opened about a yr ago, bare bones but good, try taco sampler plate, home-made tortillas, there was a mole taco with crema and pumpkin seeds that i loved, close drive from med center

SuperbJuly 9, 2012Be prepared to stuff yourself because everything we tried at Guisados was delicious! Some of the standouts were the mole poblano, the cochinita pibil, and the cheese tamale. Get an horchata, too!

Jeannette S.March 10, 2011I tried the Taco Sampler, 6 mini-tacos of the chef's choice, and it was so yummy! They made with hand made mini-tortillas and the sauces are incredible...definitely not your typical taqueria!
I put up two pictures up, one of two chicharon tacos and the other of two shrimp tacos. I have to say, I never tried them with blackbeans and have to say they were good. Give them a try. Cheers

Fresh corn tortillas! Ask for the habanero salsa if you want it super spicy
I like the tacos de pollo con mole with a sprinkling of pumpkin and sesame seeds, washed down with some agua de jamaica.
If you are brave enough, eat the taco de Chiles Toreados. My lips were on fire for an hour after but it was worth it.
