Iconic ‘meat fruit’ is worth the hype. Exchange so-so mains for another starter. Watch the nitro at your neighbors table (ice-cream isn’t special) & take the tipsy pudding or any of the other desserts
Two Michelin star. Excellent food, each rooted in British history. Top dishes: meat fruit, pork, chicken, tipsy cake, brown bread ice cream and fresh prepared liquid nitrogenice cream.
Had too higher expectations, but still a lovely meal. The starters and desserts were a lot more unique than the actual mains. Try to leave room for the after dinner liquid N2 ice creamcone!
A great experience! You must try the Meat Fruit and Tipsy Cake. The ribeye mouthwatering, the ice-cream trolley's fun. We were seated at a table overlooking Hyde Park for our anniversary😘
The most innovative British cuisine in London. The modern interpretations of 18th and 19th century recipes are mind blowing! The tangerine shaped terrine and tipsy cake are the must-try dishes!
http://DinnerByHeston.com | 1 Michelin Star | Dinner reworks historical British recipes as far back as the 14th century. Big flavor and texture dishes will remain in your taste memory-bank for years!
This place is definitely a very solid michelin-starred restaurant as all dishes were executed very well. The legendary meat fruit and tipsy cake are both to die for!!
Just visited for the 4th time and I think it might get better and better. You have to try the meat fruit and the tipsy cake - no question they are sublime and totally unique
Super nice - of course. And the star dishes are there for a reason: meat fruit and tipsy cake, I would return again and again. The pork chop and bass were great as well!
Top noch experience, amazing food, great service.meat fruit, tipsy cake, pidgeon delish, if they say they have pork belly instead of chops go for it! Worth every penny💜❤️

Wonderful meal! The rice&flesh was really tasty & the tipsy cake was by far the best dessert I ever tried! The duck breast was ok, a little too pink for my taste, but overall a great meal and service
Incredible authenticBritish fare that even has the dish's origin year & source cookbookprinted right on the menu. Two words: meat fruit. The tipsy cake does not disappoint, so save room for dessert!
We took huge variety of dishes! And I enjoyed every single one of them-especially I loved the duck.. Dishes are put on the table by different waiters in the same time-evidence of Michelin star haha
Wonderful experience, impeccable service and amazing food. Don't miss Meat Fruit & lobster soup. Deserts are terrific. Order their TipsyCake at the beginning of the meal as it takes a while to prepare
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal was a very interesting finding. 45th place in San Pellegrino's The World's 50 Best Restaurants. At lunch is "affordable" and the experience is worth every penny.
A must-go destination on our London trips. Set menu always delights but try the meat fruit and the deserts. Needs no further introduction or recommendation. Book extremely early via their website.
The link to historical dishes in the menu is a great touch if not always obvious in the tasting. Come as a group to try a bit of everything. Dishes are all excellent even if a little overhyped.
MUST HAVE: Roast marrowbone, CRAB LOAF!!!!, brussels sprout (Side), TIPSY CAKE, Ice Cream (the cone is great as well). Main: Cod in cider (good), Chicken (perfectly cooked)
i cant rate this because i went there very very late and was soooo sleepy but the service was extermely good and friendly-foods are interesting and each one is hundreds years old: 21 days-dried beef
If you are in London, a vist to this restaurant is a must. Chef Blumenthal has done his homework with respect to British cuisine. Some of the dishes on the menu date back to the 14th century!
The roasted scallops with cucumberketchup were bursting with flavour and were amazing. I also had a bit of the Meat Fruit which was a delicious work of art. You'll need to book weeks in advance.
Powdered Duck. Meat Fruit. An innovative interpretation of British cuisine. Although the service was not as good as I expected, the food definitely made up for it. Advance booking is required.
Amazing historical and Michelin starred- experience. Heston takes you through a historical journey with the courses, and the staff and location are awesome!
Not usually a food photo guy but meat fruit was exquisitely presented and so light and creamy. The dish of the day was the pigeon though - amazingly tender and juicy flavours.
Incredible date spot. Service is deliberately steady & very high end. I'd skip the chicken & go for the scallops & any beef or fish. Obviously very pricey, but you get what you pay for.
The UK Chefs are quite simply some of the finest chefs in the world. If you love food, you must experience a dinner by Heston, he really is a fantastic innovator of cooking.
Everybody talks about the meat fruit and tipsy cake for a reason: the other dishes are far less interesting than those two. Not a 2 star restaurant, especially when it comes to service.
Recommend Meat Fruit, Powdered Duck and Brown Bread Ice Cream (for those with a sweet tooth). Ask for a park view in the day or kitchen view at night (if you want to see the chefs at work).
Both savoury porridge and bone marrow starters were great, albeit a bit small. Although size definitely not an issue with the delicious pork chop! Best I've ever tasted!
Fantastic mich star molecular gastronomy at respectable prices (not cheap, but not wallet busting either). The "meat fruit" starter & tipsy cakedessert are both must haves!!!
Dinner is fantastic and Meat Fruit is a must have - surely now one of the most iconic dishes around. Nice work Heston, but shame about the price of the wine ;). Read more
Good addition to London dining. U won't get the drama & theatre that u do @ the Fat Duck but it's technically accomplished food which is generally very tasty. Try meat fruit, spiced pigeon, tipsy cakeRead more
We ordered the £35 3 course lunch- the food was good, beautifully presented, but without any of the fancy molecular aspect. So would suggest trying the a la carte menu instead!
I went here with my family. We got the best table in the place. The food was just so Heston. I had the meat fruit, pigeon and brown bread ice-cream. Every minute was wonderful.
One of the worlds most famous and pioneering chefs in the world blurring the lines between fine dining and experimental science. This Knightsbridge restaurant is more traditional in its menu.
Announcement: Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London is temporarily closed, following the unfortunate fire in early June. Inspired by Heston Blumenthal’s fascination with historic gastronomy, Dinner is one of the world’s most celebrated restaurants...
