Ladislav F.January 31, 2013Built in 1859-1866, the synagogue survived Kristallnacht and was heavily damaged during the WW2, only front part remained. Great services of rabbi Ederberg and vivid Masorti community.

Filip MerveillieApril 9, 2016Synagoge (with the exposition) itself is ok to learn a bit about the history of the Jews in Berlin, all be it rather expensive. But please don't bother to pay for the dome cause that's a rip off!!

Ralph del ValleMarch 31, 2013Absolute waste of time and money. It's a fraud. Dome (2€) is ridiculous, and they don't allow you into the Synagogue (just a crappy and feeble exhibition). Avoid this visit.
AndréJune 11, 2012Nothing to see inside, just a pictures exhibition. They charge extra to climb to the dome and it's just an empty room. Very disappointing.
Wer an der Geschichte Europas ehemals größter Synagoge interessiert ist und sich auch mal gute Sonderausstellungen anschauen möchte, ist hier am richtigen Ort.
