Try prawn cereal for sweet, salty, spicy and crunchy goodness. I also recommend Hainanese chicken (best seller), beef and chicken bbq, indian food (beryani/kebab/paratha) & sugar cane juice.

Awesome ambiance. Bring back memories from the past. As a first timer, I got to learn more about the history of the food that was sold in the past. Do try out some food even if it's slow service.

Retro comes with hefty prices. Satay bee hoon, popiah are good. Tiger is $7.50 (large bottle). Still, the vibe is great & there's AC...unlike Glutton's Bay.

Food was generally good but the drinks and dessert stall does it for me. Green Spot. Ice Balls. Birds Nest. Wow. Walk down memory lane

Most of the food here cost $5 per plate. I like the ambience here. It's like returning to the 80s. This is especially so when we see the glass bottled drinks with metal mug.

Satay beehoon is a must try! Fanta in the bottle is really unique too. Whole layout is very nice but hygiene standards could be improved.

Of the 3 food stalls I tried, the fried oyster and handmade fishballs are good! Fried prawn noodle is really rubbish!

Dear Management, I know this is meant to be authentic 50's, but please maintain a modern hygiene standard. Was almost served a bird's nest drink in a used, gravy stained cup.

Understandably pricier hawker food but without quality. Nice environment for having a meal - if only the food was better.

If you're here for hokkien mee, I suggest travelling a little further to MBS' Rasapura. Tourists, don't be fooled by the one served here!

Better to be closed. The service here is unbelievably poor! The MUAH CHEE lady doesn't care about her customer or business at all. Come one, if like that. People should just try real food trail.

A feast for the eyes for locals and travellers alike. Not so much for the palate. Ambience really demonstrates bits of Old Singapore.
