- Michael CJuly 11, 2018Ok... Mixed review. The biscuit gravy was terrific. Grits, best I've ever had. The fried chicken on "The Zach" was a mass of fat. After the unexpected first bite of a fat glob, the rest was the same.
- Andru EdwardsSeptember 21, 2014You have to eat here. I don't eat pork, so I got the Zach but without bacon and added in fried green tomatoes instead. The fried chicken is great, and the grits make a delicious side dish.
- don't wait for a table for pizza&biscuit, order from biscuit and eat in the small area to the left! fried chicken, bacon, egg, black pepper tobasco gravy.
- Eric GottloebMay 27, 2013Once in a while a perfect sandwich is created. Biscuit, fried chicken, egg, bacon and pepper gravy fits the bill. You can't eat it with your hands and it should come w/ a free t-shirt for finishing.
- Phill RameyApril 18, 2015Get the Zach with fried egg and bacon. It is a bit pricey for a biscuit meal, but an amazing and delicious treat every once in a while.
- Mr. ChrisFebruary 16, 2014The Zach. Have it and thank me later. Fried Chicken. Tabasco black pepper gravy. Bacon. Egg. Pairs perfectly with the freshly squeezed orange juice :-)
- Stacy Hotes-ApratoAugust 24, 2014The special this morning was amazing; corned beef hash, open face biscuit, heirloom tomato ketchup, peppers, red onion, and egg. So delicious!
- Michael SterlJune 15, 2013Ham, egg, Beecher's cheddar, apple mustard is the way to go. Fennel sausage is amazing as well! Can't go wrong with this place. Don't wait for a table, sit in the open seating section.
- Stacy Hotes-ApratoSeptember 27, 2014Tried the Bull Run Cider; it's large enough to fill two glasses and has an interesting flavor. It's pear cranberry, and a bit on the sour side and slightly dry.
- Limenglin CaiNovember 9, 2014Fried chicken is incredibly tender and juicy but not drenched in fat. I saw them pulling it out freshly from the oven and was served immediately. Great place for a soggy Seattle winter weekend!
- Marta BeckerJune 16, 2013The sweet fennel pizza was tasty, the biscuits were surprisingly smooth and tasty, but you HAVE to order the fire roasted Anaheims, house sausage and Yukon gold potatoes wood fired Skillet baked eggs!
- Tim OteroApril 7, 2017Wasn't sure on the pizza menu, so I asked our server her favorite. She pointed me to the roasted seasonal mushroom, and suggested adding sausage. It was delicious. I highly recommend.
- Greg WilcoxMarch 13, 2013As others have said, "the Zach" is incredible... Gravy is amazing, slightly sweet, rich and savory, yet somehow light with some heat. Serious comfort food though, so come with an empty stomach.
- Wesley YooMarch 13, 2013I had the Zach and it was great. Everything else looks great, too. My tip would be, try the gravy. Thick but light, little bit of sweet with savory and a spicy kick!
- Fitch ♚December 24, 2011You're there for the Zach. Biscuit with fried chicken, fried egg, bacon, and tabasco, with amazing pepper gravy.
- Stacy Hotes-ApratoAugust 24, 2014Not a beer drinker, but my beer friend bought me a schofferhofer hefeweizen with grapefruit and it was really good! A good choice if you want to ease into the beer options.
- Tiffany SAugust 22, 2014Gluten-free peeps: the corn biscuit with truffled frittata is incredible. Get it even if you aren't g-free.
- Namitta ShankarJanuary 21, 2014If you're looking for vegetarian options: Gluten-free frittata biscuit, lemonade. Enough said. Possibly the best biscuit I've ever had *and* gluten-free!
- Arminda Guillama-RodriguezJune 27, 2012Seriously delicious. Torn between the pizza and the biscuit, went for the biscuits and made a great choice! Baked eggs are perfectly cooked, biscuits are buttery, and staff is friendly.
- Grace PakDecember 9, 2012Fried chicken biscuit is excellent !! but don't want to even think about calorie count! It does not take any quicker, even if you order Togo - might as well get comfy at a stool
- Matt AffolterJanuary 17, 2015Don't neglect the skillets! Very tasty and creamy. Just lather it on the biscuit and enjoy! Fennel sausage also excellent.
- David HuJanuary 22, 2014"The Zach" is a heart attack on a plate, but it's a delicious, delicious heart attack on a plate.
- R MMarch 15, 2014I haven't been here in more than a year because it used to be so crowded! Glad to see they've expanded into the adjacent space, allowing for more room for tables.

- PatrickMarch 21, 2016Egg frittata sandwich was amazing. Schofferhofer was amazing. Even the side biscuit with jam was amazing.
- Elyse EstradaSeptember 11, 2013Get the ham and beecher's cheddar biscuit sandwich. Cut it in half, put habanero sauce on one and honey on the other.
- Mouni ReddyMarch 19, 2016This place introduced to the schofferhofer.. Incredible breakfast drink. Get that instead of a mimosa.

- Tanya PhamMarch 5, 2013Good, hearty breakfast, but not a Tom Douglas best. "The Zach" is good and has well-seasoned fried chicken, but the gravy could be more flavorful. Hush puppies leave something to be desired.

- Connie LuJune 30, 2013You will food coma after eating the Zach. Your liver and intestines might hate you, but your mouth and stomach will love you.
- If you have kids ask to sit upstairs at the far wall by the kitchen. They'll love it.
- Ashley SpearsDecember 1, 2014God bless good ol boys from NC opening up a southern biscuit shop on the west coast
- Cee . AMay 27, 2012Portland is still two and a half hours away. You need a biscuit and fried chicken, smothered in gravy. So stop here for a SERIOUS biscuit.
- Kathy GillApril 28, 2011Peanut Butter Cookie heaven! Two nutty cookies form creamy PB sandwich. Crispy edges, soft center.
