- Raf M.April 23, 2016We all know Gwilym is a bloody genius in coffee world and it finds reflection is his very own coffee shop. Love absolutely everything about this place. Best coffee shop on this continent.
- Right at the top end of the list of best coffee shops in London, come here for much more than a great espresso. Full choice of brewed options, plenty of seating and a light airy atmosphere.
- I've just eaten the best cinnamon bun of my life here. If they have them, try it - you won't regret it! Goes brilliantly well with a simple long black to cut through the richness.
- Kostas KoukoravasNovember 22, 2014The best coffee in London by far. Cappuccinos and espressos here are special. Choice of blends. Filter coffee a bit pricey but you won't find this quality and attention to detail anywhere else. 5 star
- AdleyJuly 12, 2016Nice interior, friendly staff, great coffee and very yummie bread with avocado. Nice place to chill or work. Good job!
- Nadia YazidJune 1, 2015Had filtered espresso with milk using Square Mile beans. If you ask, the beans can be changed to another brand. Thickness & temp of the coffee were good. The cheesecake & brownies were delicious!
- Augustinas SlučkaFebruary 21, 2016Very friendly staff, asked about different filter types and everything was explained with no rush. Also ordered flat white with double espresso and triple ristretto, which were amazing!
- One of the very best, OG third wave coffee shops in London. They showcase not only Square Mile but many of Europe’s best roasters, plus they have a training center downstairs. Great music, too.
- Megan AllisonOctober 15, 2022The coffee is just so incredibly good here. Trendy, long queue for brunch yes but ignore that. Some of the best espresso you're likely to have. ☕️🖤
- Truly wonderful coffee shop with excellent coffee. The flat white here is amazing. Delicious snacks as well, you must try the brownie! Free WiFi and plenty of seats. Does get busy.
- Probably the best coffee shop in London. Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, the espresso is made to perfection (make sure to try the guest beans!) and the environment is cosy.
- Barbora ŠilhánováSeptember 7, 2017Absolutely must-visit place in London. No excuses, everybody must try coffee there. Amazing baristas prepare one of the best coffees in the city.
- Nick CollinsJune 2, 2019Super chill staff, down to earth vibe and the place id hang with more frequent if I was a local. Pastries and cinnamon rolls are delicious. Always friendly staff with great service.
- Hind AAugust 23, 2018Place is so big compared to other such places in London.. love everything except the fried chickebsmell coming from the street station outside the shop.
- Maximilian StoiberFebruary 16, 2016Without a doubt the best coffee in London, if not in the world. They focus on quality, the Baristas are very well trained, they use great beans and have an amazing machine. Must drink!
- CBNovember 6, 2018They get everything right. Hand made filters, batch brews, espresso, whole beans, and home brewing supplies. Cold brew the only thing missing. Good hot food too. Cool staff and crowd.
- Richard FrazierAugust 26, 2013I went for the barista training, but stopped for lunch and a coffee. Try the beans, eggs and sourdough. Naturally the coffee is superb - sweet and carefully constructed using Square Mile as house.
- One of the best coffee places in London. They do food too (e.g. 50p mini bites of brownies), but that's not why you should come here.
- Thankfully a strong pandemic survivor and the best place for coffee in the Leather Lane neighbourhood. Now with highly prized super booth seats at the back.
- Great place for relaxing. Excellent coffee and super friendly staff. Cappuccino was silky and smooth. Must visit for coffee geeks.
- Omid AshtariMarch 2, 2012Amazing place to work from for as they have reliable WiFi. Staff is super nice and will give you some freebies if you spend enough time there. There are only one set of plugs at the entrance though.
- RivJune 20, 2015I like the latte and their lemon verbena tea. Nice atmosphere to chill and do some reading. A little pricey for coffee and tea though.
- Ashley ChanOctober 26, 2017Plenty of seating in this coffee shop that takes its coffee seriously. The place is filled with coffee items/artisanal products for retail. The place is a bit grungier but a good place to work.
- Anna BangouraNovember 11, 2017Nice service, nice coffee, nice atmosphere! Even if you come 15 min before closing time, as we did yesterday... 😊
- Anami NguyenJune 18, 2015Bright place. Plugs are on the right side next to the window. Wifi password: sweetshop. Staff is amazingly positive & nice. Prufrock always has vegan options 💞
- Some of the best coffee in the area (probably in London). Light and airy space with free wifi. Try the banana bread!! It's awesome.
- Omer CavusogluMarch 8, 2016The coffee is great, the minimal decor is appealing but my favourite aspect is its location in what is today an unassuming but historically very significant Leather Lane.
- Brian SFebruary 11, 2016Top notch flat white, and I love the way they serve tea: you can go bring your cup back for two additional free 'infusions'.
- BashayerApril 27, 2017Amazing filter coffee worth the 6£ price. Mat was awesome barista. Nice space to work and meet friends even for dates.
- Carlos EgiaAugust 5, 2015I get why is on the TOP5 coffee shops in London. The flavour is great. The place is big and spacious... full of hipsters but still cool.
- This is a hardcore coffee nerd place. Take the guest espresso if they have one. It's always high quality imported beans that are hard to find elsewhere.
- One of my new favourite places - they take great care to pick the best ingredients, the breakfast menu is simple but delicious and the coffee is incredible.
- Sam DuffySeptember 15, 2012Coffee not cheap, £3 for a cappuccino, but made with skill and care and the space is lovely. Chocolate bite for 50p is very nice on the side of your saucer!
- Paul FarrellJune 25, 2015These folks know their stuff. Exceptionally focused and first class delivery with a methodical madness for consistency. Superb pour over.

- New York HabitatApril 2, 2014Covering 2 floors, this spacious coffee shop serves top-notch coffee to its visitors, hosts coffee tastings & barista trainings!
- Not An EwokMarch 15, 2013Great coffee at extortionate prices. Seriously, even tea is £3. Filter coffee £4.50. But yeh, it's really nice. If you're rich or fancy splashing out.
- Becky BarnesFebruary 5, 2019Amazing coffee in a great setting. Really lovely staff. Pictured is an oat milk flat white.
- Harry van den BerghSeptember 3, 2015Still the best coffee there is. Great to see how professional the Baristas are.
- Mark AshbridgeJune 24, 2013Pitch up at the 'brew bar' and taste a thing or two. Head Barista, Dave Regan, is a dreamboat. If you're on a coffee crawl, Dept of Coffee & Social Affairs is right across the street.
- STNovember 16, 2012Coffee lover? Then try Prufrock! <3 I ordered a soy cappuccino, no art on my coffee. Next time I would be sure to get the latte art!! :))
