- Sven D.October 6, 2013The coffee shop downstairs is a great place for relaxing and having a rest, particularly on weekends. Reduced offerings, but the coffee is good and unbeatably cheap (large cup for 1 € only!).
- Paige C.May 29, 2017Get a tour to actually hear the instruments! 👌🏻 also try out the instruments in the basement (the ones which are meant to be played) very nice and usually calm place 😊
- MatasFebruary 17, 2013Fantastic collection of musical instruments surrounded by great 60s architecture of Hans Scharoun. And don't forget to visit the cafe downstairs!
- Jonathon TaylorFebruary 7, 2018director is amazing. They couldn’t accommodate a special tour for the blind on short notice, but he was extremely apologetic and did his best. highly recommended. #blind
- Piotr S.July 26, 2015Very nice museum-you can see instruments and then listen to their sounds-you need audio guide for this(which is in ticket price anyway).Older kids may enjoy it.Unfortunately staff is not very friendly
- Hamilton PereiraSeptember 27, 2014Really interesting museum full of different types of musical instruments. Some of them you can ear samples. Carefull with the overzealous staff.
- Alexander De TeyNovember 1, 2014Check out the early electronica section on the first floor. With cool songs by the beatles and pink floyd!
- Boris FilanovskyJuly 21, 2013Gorgeous collection, but frustrated from impossibility of touching/making sounds even on cembalo replicas.
- João RamosMay 9, 2013Impressive collection, but lacks texs in english. Still, great value for money!
- Foti DimJanuary 12, 2015Very impolite personnel with lack of professionalism. Everything is in German. Wherever you go there is a guy watching you like a criminal. The collection could be more up to date. Not recommended.
- Irina T.August 14, 2012An outstanding collection of musical instruments. Suspiciously quiet inside. Can't touch or try anything, even mechanical models; no video of the instrument at work. Not a good place for children.
- Ângelo Miguel GeraldoDecember 29, 2015Não perca o órgão do tempo do cinema mudo, que ainda funciona (1° sáb. do mês, 12h).
- Osman YuekselOctober 19, 2013Macarların "Tekerö" dediği Almanların "Drehleier" dediği enstrümanın onsekizinci yüzyıl Fransa yapımı bir örneği bu müzede görülebilir.
