Nice market with great selection of everything, including a very decent food court. However, the undeniable attraction is the building with its arched ceiling!

This is their best branch so far ~ love the location (under the bridge), Lavazza cafe + International Food Specialty Section. Cozy ambiance and lines are never long. +++

Look up. It's marvelous. Mezzanine level has pictures that chronicle the history of the market under the bridge.

Clean, expensive, friendly staff and the architecture of the ceilings is work by Gustavino. Great acoustics.

Long story short: After 3 people making 3 attempts to get serviced at the meat/fish counter, 1 attempt to find the manager/someone at the CS Desk, we received help. 30 minutes and no apology...poor!!!

There's a retaining wall on the 59th Street side that you can stand on to watch runners coming off the bridge during the NYC Marathon.

The worst grocery store in all of Manhattan. Insane product display and organization, lousy selection and overall just a waste of time. Order Fresh Direct if you want to eat.
