- Hawker Western food. For bargain hunters. Great value plates from Chef Hainanese Western Food #01-04. Opens only for dinner, expect disproportionately long waiting times to even place your order.
- Affordable desserts. Hot & Cold Desserts #01-30 sells desserts starting from $1! Classics like cheng tng, ice kachang, chendol & bubor hitam. Generous portions too👍🏼
- Mee siam. Enjoyed an order from unexpected Queenstown Lontong #01-21. Gravy has lots of “tau cheo”. Generous with ingredients. This size $3
- Chai png (economy rice). Yummy dishes from 众味食摊 Food Stall #01-36. Run by elderly couple, selections were decent & home-style 👍🏼

- Local kopi. Shortlisted 2 stalls with better coffee. Fresh Cafe #01-02 & Xin Ee Shui #01-12. Their brews were thicker & more aromatic
- Nasi Lemak. $3 buys u a filling serving from Alimah's Kitchen #01-23. Fried chicken wing is standard. Chilli sauce is watery and good

- Hokkien fried prawn noodles. Zhang Fa #01-37 serves up a moist dish. However, the noodles were not cooked enough. Plus the early constant stirring made the eggs non-existent

- Terry WongMay 4, 2011Holy shit shop name "No. 1 WESTERN FOOD" is pretty damned good. Try their chicken cutlet and the auntie is friendly so if you like the gravy that they serve you can always ask for more!
- Kaya toast set. Unimpressed with Sky Coffee's (#01-32) offering. While kopi was average (not aromatic), kaya toast was miserly. Kaya spread was only on one half, making it dry to taste

- Braised pork noodles. Aw's Signature Minced Pork Noodles #01-08 also prepares a home-style bowl of lor-bak/tau yew bak. Very home-style, not overly salty. I'd eat this again
