    Best station to railfan west of Jamaica Station. Just a note for train riders, purchase the tickets at the TVM before boarding to avoid a $5. surcharge on board as noted by another poster...

    The best view is as you exit into Forest Hills Garden. The worst is the graffiti adorning the hidden part of the old station house.

    Super convenient to Jamaica Station's AirTrain link to JFK, and you don't have to wield your large luggage through the MTA turnstiles.

    There are now ticket machines on both platforms instead of just on the westbound side as Peter J.I.'s outdated tip implies.

    Yes, trains do tend to be late due to the sucky Babylon runs, I just wished some Huntington Train would stop here...

    Yes, Moskow is correct. Select trains stop here. First 4 cars only open.
