Show up early to avoid lines which build during the day. Overall great day excursion, If over the age of 14 the level 9 experience probably makes sense if you are willing to pay a bit extra.

I planned on visiting for 2-3 hours as I only had 1 day in Houston. I ended up spending 6 hours. The 2 tours are worth it since they lead you into the NASA facilities.

Buy tix online (save $5), eat before you go (expensive considering choices), do the tram tour, go as soon as they open to avoid the crowd and on Fridays you can meet an astronaut...you're welcome!

For tours, exhibits, and IMAX movies galore, visit Space Center Houston! The tram tour is my absolute favorite – sometimes you even see the astronauts and crew training!

It is a museum, try not to think of it as a theme park and you’ll have a great time. The new Apollo 50th Anniversary Command Center is the best! Reserve your tour the minute you get there!

Blue tour is only 1 stop at the rocket park. Takes about 40 minutes. Red tour is longer but most wait times are 1.5hrs on weekends.

If you plan on taking the tram over to the Johnson Space Center (and you should!), get reservations so you don't have to wait. Also, bring a pillow to sit on, as the tram seats are very uncomfortable.

What a great museum! You can spend a whole day here. Tram tour to the control room and rocket exhibition was my favorite.

The exhibits were well maintained and current. The best was the historic white tram tour of the control room, a must see!

If you want to go to the Mission Control tour- go to the little computers just past the help kiosk and get your free ticket first. They run every 30 minutes, but you can’t get on the team without it.

Book the Simulator ride prior to visiting. Book yourself on the tour to the actual rocket launch site. PRO TIP: Get the tickets off www.rush49.com at a discounted rate. You can thank me later.

Gets busy, little direction on things to do, but definitely a worthwhile experience. Make sure to get your mission control ticket (free) first.

Start with the tram tour. To see both mission control and the astronaut training area requires two tram tours, annoyingly enough. Most of the exhibits in the main building are geared towards kids.

The Level 9 Tour isn't cheap, but a real tread for every Space fan. You get a lot closer to the things than with the other tours. I recommend not taking the tour during Holiday season.

If you're over 25, I'd skip most of the exhibition which is geared towards kids and get onto the tram tour!

I've been going here since I was a small person. Nothing has changed in years except the touring shows. I always hope for something bigger and more grandiose from a Smithsonian Institution.

Nice day out with the family or for those with an interest. Spend a full day to see everything. Worthwhile if you have a half day as well.

You may be limited in your experience if you have a baby/stroller. You have to leave your stroller for potential sticky fingers for the tram tours. Still fun for the kids.

Huge disappointment. Looking for a cool place to experience the history of space flight, this isn't it! The space shuttle is a replica as are most items on display. Tram tours disorganized. Sad.
