- When waiting for the Red Line to take you to all the terminals, move all the way forward and avoid the crowd. Everyone huddles unnecessarily around the ticket machines and the other half is empty.

Upvoted Feb 16- Very reasonably priced considering the alternative, taking a cab. If you dont know how to use the machine, ask for help! I'm tired of getting stuck behind these people and missing a train.
Going to the rental center and a hertz gold member? Sit in the last car and exit to the right for the quick route down.
JD LasicaFebruary 28, 2013Signage after arriving on BART is terrible. Tips: 1) Head left up the stairs for all domestic flights; 2) There's only one train out of SFO, take Pittsburgh Baypoint and transfer to other lines in SF

Never take the blue line if you're trying to get to a domestic terminal. The train will take the really long way there via the rental car center.

if you had a late-nite or weekend flight, bart goes direct to millbrae bart. otherwise, you'll have to transfer at san bruno bart.
