- Harriet RuffMarch 7, 2015Go for the beef dish which comes with a fried egg on top. Simply divine. BYO is perfect for pre night out dinner in brixton. Sit outside to avoid queuing. There's rugs and picnic heaters!
- Anna SzypkowskaJanuary 14, 2018Glass noodle salad with minced pork and prawns was delicious. Small place but cosy. It gets cold every time someone opens the door so we had to wear our jackets.
- When they say 'spicy' they mean it! Ask for very, very mild if you can't handle chilli heat. The food is wonderful however - great curries and soups. Tempura veg to start are great.
- Kukkii KoppeeApril 2, 2017I was very impressed with the king prawn and pineapple curry - nice and spicy with a hint of sweetness. Great lunch spot on sunny days.
- Jennifer LeeApril 14, 2018Amazing, authentic Thai food! Pretty much everything was great. Try the banana fritter dessert
- The best Thai food I've had in the UK. And possibly Thailand. You must have the chicken wings and the prawn red curry. Quite simply - amazing
- Jackie BrownJanuary 9, 2016Some of the best Thai food in London at cheap prices and it's BYO. The red curry is really good.
- jenni tapanilaMarch 11, 2017quite busy on sunday afternoon, nice pad thai with shrimp. will go back.
- Christiane LinkAugust 28, 2014Went there for lunch. It was ok-ish but not the best Thai food you can get in London. Even so it wasn't full, I got the bill without asking for it. I got the message and left without dessert.
- Bill McKimmMay 31, 2012Amazing Amazing Amazing ! Go for Pad Thai and Travellers Lamb Curry, and oh bring a bottle of something .........
- Neil ShahFebruary 19, 2012The staff are sensitive to vegetarians/vegans. Although there are no options on the menu, staff were happy to create something wonderful.
- Krisjanis BerzinsSeptember 11, 2012You can bring your own drink! And everything is made of high quality and fresh ingredients... Very impressive.
- Peter SigristJune 6, 2011The marinated chicken is one of the best Thai dishes I've ever eaten anywhere (including in Thailand) Read more
- Simone C.August 26, 2012I do not understand the queues. Cheap and cheerful (byo), run by a colourful, nice bunch. But is it really worth queuing for?
- Stephen NockFebruary 17, 2015Great Som Tam Thai (spicy papaya salad) for £5.90...makes your nose run! Not a bad lunch option :-)
- LondonistFebruary 10, 2012People were queuing out the door, at temperatures of minus 5, in heavy snow. That's all you need to know.
- TeeOctober 19, 2014Had a hit and miss experience here. The spicy prawn salad was overly pungent (salty) without delivering on spice. Curries were generally good though.

- Matt SaundersOctober 3, 2011Great place. Not a bad idea to book ahead. It's BYO so come prepared or pop to the shop opposite Dogstar
- Peter SigristApril 29, 2013My dad lived in Thailand for a year during Nam. And he says this is the real deal.
- Heather McKayJune 30, 2012Make sure you ask for your dish to be spicy, Thai style. This ensures your mouth is on fire for the rest of the night!
- The grilled chicken, sticky rice and salad is great, the service is even better
- Lizzie MJuly 10, 2011Som tam and laab disappointly tame. The grilled pork skewers were great though.
