    The most spectacular Buddhist architecture can be found at Wat Pra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). It contains more exquisite carvings. Shorts and sandals are not allowed.

    Beware of the so called guides out side, the palace is open till 3.30pm. They will tell you it's closed for the ceremony, don't believe them.

    Ignore people around the walls who tell you the palace is closed before 3.30pm. They just want to take you elsewhere.
