Natalie M.September 4, 2012Every hour (on the half hour) go to the Ranger table for tickets to the rooftop tour (which will be an hour later but there is plenty to do) on the weekend. It's worth it for the views of NYC.Upvoted 1 week ago
Landmarks Preservation CommissionJuly 26, 2013Designed by Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Williams it was constructed of sandstone with walls measuring 8 feet thick at the base. The castle was designated a City landmark in 1967.

Tours every hour from 11:30 AM till 3:30 PM. About 30 minutes. Get some history in the round at the best-preserved circular fortification in the nation. On weekends the Castle is open until 5:30 PM with an additional tour at 4:30 PM.
