- Railway bridge. Remnants of cast iron railway track bridge, which was constructed sometime in 19th century as part of the transportation infrastructure by the British Colonial. Source: NParks
- At the Clementi-Ulu Pandan Roads junction, 2 waterways merge. Sungei Ulu Pandan (right) is joined by the Bukit Timah First Diversion Canal (left). Water comes all the way from Bukit Timah Canal!
- Great trail for an evening run. Much less crowded after 20:30. Trail lights are on until midnight.
- Ample pedestrian bridges along Ghim Moh area linking north & south banks. However no crossings along 3km stretch between Clementi Blk 101 & Boon Lay Way
- Take note that the path along the southern bank is NOT shared. There are signs plus a clear line separating pedestrians & those on wheels
- Length of the full park connector stretch is 7.1 km. While it is accessible 24 hours daily, lighting is only 7pm – 7am (although fellow 4SQ users reported otherwise). Source: NParks
- Trail starts fr Commonwealth Ave West, thro Ghim Moh estate, Dover MRT station, Holland Grove estate, crosses Clementi Rd to cut thro Clementi & Sunset estates, then onto AYE. Source: NParks
- Quiet pathway for a run or ride in an otherwise busy city. After 8:30pm sees fewer people if you like a bit of solitude
- I find the path quite a bit less busy after 8pm. Nice if you enjoy a peaceful jog
- When it rains, monsoon drains funnel huge volumes of water into the canal to prevent flooding
- Remnants of the KTM Jurong Line railway track runs parallel to this Park Connector between the Ulu Pandan Railway Bridge and Commonwealth Avenue West.
- Spot the occasional monitor lizard swimming stealthily in the river
- They have upgraded the canal to look like a natural stream. Lotsa tilapia here.
