- Ted BirkhahnSeptember 11, 2014Great value for great sushi. Go with the sashimi lunch special or any of the chef special rolls. Never had a bad meal and I've been coming for years.
- Definitely get the Mermaid Roll. With salmon, tuna, yellowtail, cucumber, avocado and tobiko wrapped tightly with just a bit of rice in a marbled seaweed, it combines everything good about sushi.
- Ceren BalkanayAugust 1, 2014Very small sushi bar. Kani Salad is delicious. Yummy rolls and nigiri. If you want different types of rolls dont order the Sushi Dinner for 2. You will get either california or tuna with that.
- Exceptionally friendly staff, delicious rolls. Get the panda roll, it's off the menu but amazing (smoked salmon and some sort of crazy spice on top). Have never been disappointed.
- Patrick HealyJune 30, 2011Dollar for dollar, the best sushi you will get in NYC.Service is great, food is great, & the price is reasonable.I recommend the spider roll (best I have ever had) or any number of the specialty rolls
- Josh PineAugust 14, 2013Ask to sit in the little garden area outside in the back. Nobody seems to know about it. Nice little fenced in area with hanging lights & fresh air. Not covered in case of rain.
- Stephanie VoongMarch 29, 2013One of the best spots for delicious sushi! Rock II roll is so good! And don't forget to order sake!
- Alexandre de OliveiraDecember 7, 2014Very good place. My favorite sushi restaurant in NYC so far. Very traditional.
- Best value for money I've ever had for Japanese food in the city. Lunch special is hard to beat!
- ZenFoodsterNovember 23, 2015Anthr Chinese-run-of-the-mill Japanese w/ average sushi-kinda fishy & metallic-tasting. Snow crab in salad was imitation crab- no diff. than Kani one! Basement-level & dirty. Don't believe the hype.
- Mitzi YueJuly 7, 2012Incredibly reasonably priced and delicious. The Panda Roll was great, and the portions of Katsu were very generous. Must come back!
- Kersten BroichMay 23, 2017The sushi was amazing. The salad and the dessert that came with the menu was a joke. Don't waste your money and go straight for the sushi
- Brad KleinApril 6, 2016Decent lunch special. Got chix teriyaki bento box. Chix was good, Cali roll whatever.
- DanwenFebruary 27, 2014I'm frequently spoiled by $100+ omakases but need cheaper lunch options. Good reviews so decided to give it a shot. Got the 2 roll lunch special and 2 pieces a la carte. Nothing to write home about.
- ShariJune 30, 2013Get the green lady :) complimentary wet wipe at the beginning of the meal and oranges at the end.
- Jason LiszkaOctober 19, 2013Best delivery sushi I could find in Murray Hill. They're pretty fast, too... at my door in under 15 minutes.
- Karan TamhaneSeptember 29, 2015Great for lunch!! Get the crispy spicy salmon roll and the eel roll..
- LibbySeptember 26, 2012The Mississippi sushi chef special!!!! Amazing!!! This place is clean, quaint, affordable, and delicious :)
- Best lunch special around, and the sushi is really great. I get the eel and spicy yellowtail every time.
- JuliaDecember 11, 2017I've got rotten tuna inside my bento box. The smell was so strong when I opened a box and I decided to throw it away. Although the veggies were good I won't return
- The special banana roll is amazing! And they have the best music selection ever.
- Get the 3 roll lunch special! The shrimp and asparagus roll is so good!
- JuliaDecember 11, 2017The tuna was bad smelling inside my lunch bento box. Although veggies were good I won't risk anymore
- Cindy ChowAugust 1, 2015Tried to come here twice when it's said its open. Only to find an open sign with padlocks on the door.
