Enjoyed running here while visiting family. The section I was on was well-shaded, lots of bikers, runners, families, and even saw some deer.

C&O MILE 3- 11 miles of rail trail connecting the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington to Silver Springs. The trail runs alongside the C&O and the Potomac River for its final approach into DC.

Solid flat trail but heavily trafficked. Watch out for bikers.

Paved trail along the C&O that lets you avoid the much of the mud.

Awesome place to run, cycle, or watch some wildlife (oh, and there's some deer and squirrels too! Lol)

Capitol Crescent Trail does not go to Virginia! This Foursquare does not know its geography very well.
